Thoughts from the President The new year has well and truly kicked off and we are already well into the thick of things. The storms in December impacted on most of us, and the resultant damage in Nelson, Richmond and Golden Bay will take the Councils a long time to fix. Some careful prioritisation will need to occur to ensure that rates increases are sustainable. We will be carefully watching the potential impact on ratepayers. The other decision that may have a big impact on rates is the proposed amalgamation of Nelson City and Tasman District Councils. However, the key difference is that this decision is in our hands. It is vitally important that you vote, as each poll will be decided by the majority of those who bother to vote. And despite assertions to the contrary, if more than 50% of votes cast in even one poll are against amalgamation, then it will not proceed – by law. John Key also told us here in Nelson last year that he will not be forcing any local government amalgamations. Getting good information is vital to help form your decision, although I must admit this can be very hard with some of the misinformation and misconceptions out there. The Nelson Mail has come out in favour of amalgamation and it is very evident that this is biasing their reporting. This is no surprise however, as it is highly likely that Nelson businesses will be the only winners under amalgamation. The Local Government Commission (LGC) has said that one of the “benefits” of amalgama-

Water Rate Concerns
The following is a letter to Nelson Grey Power about the concerns of a Grey Power member in respect to the rise in the cost of water delivery to a household in Richmond. While we are assured that TDC does not charge for water per se, they do charge for the infrastructure and costs associated with delivery of water to the household. The reason behind this is the fact that the TDC does not own the water. Re TDC water account I am writing to the Grey Power spokesperson on Local Authorities. I recently received our water a/c from the TDC and with a little research found the following : From a water meter reading 27/5/09 Daily charge $0.3375 and $0.945/cubic meter of water To a water meter reading on 16/11/11 Daily charge $0.5967 and $1.725/cubic meter of water This huge increase in both the daily charge and the water per cubic meter amounts to Daily charge 76.8% and cubic meter of water 82.5% respectively over just two and a half years. This is a huge increase for Grey Power members, most of whom are on fixed incomes. Obviously my figures need to be checked, but I am extremely disappointed in these figures and the apparent price gouging by the TDC. Kind regards Letter ends. I would be extremely interested in the explanation from TDC as to why we are getting the massive increase in the price of the delivery of water. This should be a signal to any rate payer who is on TDC supplied water with the proposed Lee Valley Dam coming in the near future. It is of major concern to read in the local newspaper, that the irrigators are not happy with the proposed cost structure. The irrigators can refuse to take any water from the aquifers and won’t incur any charges. Householders do not have this option. Gordon Currie

Older Workers
Grey Power is concerned about a recent article which ran in the NZ Herald that may give the wrong impression to the public. “We believe the article is a little misleading in that it suggests that the older workers are taking the jobs of the young people simply by doing a comparison of teens on the dole as opposed to over 65s still working which does not automatically equate to older persons taking young persons jobs,” said Mr Roy Reid, National President of the Grey Power Federation. “Also, often older workers have certain areas of expertise that a young person does not have. For example, we have fielded a number of calls from employers who require older tradesmen that are familiar with, and able to keep running, more antiquated machinery in order to save replacement costs. There are also some employers that prefer to employ older persons because of their work ethic, reliability, and time keeping. They recognise that generally with older workers they have better staff retention with staff turnover less which is a big advantage.” “Some older people continue to work because of financial necessity due to many reasons, perhaps having worked on low wages all their life and, without built up savings, they need to supplement their income or perhaps wives who divorce later in life and find themselves in financial straits. Compared with a few decades ago the general health of older people is such that they are able to work (not always full time) and feel good about doing so.” “Employers often have them act as mentors and trainers for younger persons within the workforce.” Grey Power has regularly expressed its concern to Government about the high number of unemployed under 24 and has been advocating training schemes and employment opportunities. “It is in the country’s interests to have full employment,” said Mr Reid. The more we are listened to the more we can achieve. CORRESPONDENCE: Nelson Grey Power welcomes correspondence from our members. We endeavour to answer all letters and emails and if further assistance is required from matters raised we will contact the relevant agency and work with them to resolve any issues. Recently a couple of letters have arrived at the office unsigned with no details as to who the sender was. This correspondence cannot be actioned as we have no way of following up with the writer to confirm details and send a reply. Keep your letters and emails coming, but please put your name and contact details. If you have taken the time to contact us, the issue must be of concern to you… we want to help!!! INTERNET BANKING: In the last few years we have been asked by some members (not a great number) why we do not have Internet Banking. The short answer to this is that the Grey Power Office is manned by two part time paid workers; one working 17 hours a week the other 10 hours, the rest of the work force is made up of volunteers. For us in the office Internet Banking has always meant a lot more work, with limited staff to process this work and only limited extra paid hours, remember we are a “nonprofit” Organisation. At the moment members fill in a form and either come in or send form in with payment. In the office we process forms, if no self-addressed envelope enclosed, write one out, find new membership labels and post off. With bulk mail and heavy foot traffic coming into the office over our busy time this keeps us fully occupied. We
Grey Power Nelson are proud of the fact that we have a same day turn around with all membership payments received each day in the office. Introducing Internet Banking adds a whole new level of “busy”. We have to rely on members giving us enough detail when they pay on line to process their membership. Then we have to manually go to our data base and look up the membership number, manually write out an envelope, find membership labels and post out. This will be time consuming and I can guarantee that not everyone will provide the required info when they pay on line. Having said all this and nearly talked myself out of it, we will be trying internet payments this year. The two lines below is the information or similar that appears on your computer screen when a payment is being made: Your reference details Enter your name and the reason for your payment (these will appear on their statement) Nelson Grey Power would need the following information to process your membership:

Less smoking, more fruit and veg We are smoking less and eating more fruit and vegetables. According to the latest health survey there’s been an impressive drop in smoking rates in the Nelson Marlborough District from 16.2% in 2008 to 10.4% in 2011. Another highlight is the increase in the percentage of young people having an adequate (5 plus) fruit and vegetable intake – a low 27.5% in 2008, increasing in the last three years to 46.1%. Other results are more of a mixed bag. While people are rating their health as more important to them than in 2008, physical activity levels appear to be on the decline. While one fifth of adults are now either walking or cycling to work, fewer school children are walking or cycling to school. Unfortunately the percentage of people in the district who are overweight

60 Years In Nelson
On February 02 2012 Addo and Ina Mulders celebrated 60 years of being “Nelsonians”. Below is a brief account of those 60 years. Addo did not want his voluntary work included but it is an important part of Addos life and it would be remiss not to feature all that this “Nelsonian” has been involved in. Addos parents died shortly after World War 2 ended, like so many the war had taken a toll on their health. Addo had to fend for himself from an early age. He attended the Technical High School in Groningen and in 1951 graduated with honours in a Batchelor of Science engineering degree. Ina and Addo were childhood sweethearts, they first met as six year olds attending the same primary school. After his graduation Addo asked Ina to marry him and make the long journey to Nelson, New Zealand. Ina had graduated a few years earlier from teachers college, she gave this career up to travel as a newlywed with her husband to the other side of the world.

This was not an easy decision for her, but her love for Addo and the excitement of such an incredible adventure into the unknown could not be resisted. Nelson had been chosen because an elderly couple, from a neighbouring village, Alie and Jule Bosch along with their son had settled there and they invited the newlywed Mulders to join them. After the Mulders arrival in Nelson the Boschs took Addo and Ina under their wing with the Mulders children treating them as their grandparents. Addo and Ina were amongst 1200 Dutch immigrants who left the Netherlands on Boxing Day, 1951 and arrived in Wellington by ship on 01.02.1952 and then sailed to Nelson on board the Ngaio, disembarking from the ship at Port Nelson, 8am the following day. Most of the 1200 passengers were “assisted immigrants” and had prearranged accommodation and a two year guaranteed work contract in New Zealand. After the two years were up they were free to go wherever they liked. Addo chose to be independent and look for work once he ar-

rived in Nelson. On arrival in Nelson the young couple purchased a section and built a kitset house they had bought with them from The Netherlands. At the time this was the only way they could get their own money out of the country as the maximum amount of actual money you could take was one hundred pounds. The reason for this restricting was that Holland was bankrupt. They spent 16 years in this house before moving to Chamberlain Street and then onto the Cliffs where they still live. Addo and Ina’s four children, one boy and three girls were all born in Nelson. It was very difficult for the newly arrived immigrant to find work but the manager of Anchor Foundary, Mr Cunningham saw the potential in Addo and employed him as a qualified moulder. It was dirty work, but the pay more than compensated for the working conditions and Addo stayed until August 1954 when he was then employed by Ben Ivory as chief engineer at what became Snowcraft Frozen Foods in Stoke. Addos duties also included looking after the compressors at Havemore Ice Cream in Rutherford Street.

Stress Management
Just in case you have had a rough day, here is a stress management technique recommended in all the latest psychology tests. The funny thing is that it really works! Picture yourself near a stream. Birds are softly chirping in the cool mountain air. No one knows your secret place. You are in total seclusion from the hectic place called “the world”. The soothing sound of a gentle waterfall fills the air with a cascade of serenity. The water is crystal clear. You can easily make out the face of the person you’re holding under water!

My life in Road Policing Enforcement By Eric Davy Before becoming a Traffic Officer I was a truck driver. I did this for 4 years then on the 16th March 1970 I went to the MOT Training College at Trentham. Most of these guys have gone. We did not have flash harry Japanese bikes in those days with heated handlebars, stereo’s and the like, but to us in those days they were the best thing around. I had Norton’s for my career. First was a Norton SS, followed by a Norton Mercury then to the ultimate in those days a Norton Commando.
Here I am in my official m/cycle patrol attire. Notice the leather jackets etc. The paper did an article on my move from Wanganui to Motueka.
I never had an accident with anyone but did fall off a couple of times. Tried to lay the bike over to go around a corner once except I had not seen the ice. Another time I was riding through very heavy metal at roadwork’s and a car had turned right to go into their driveway. The only way we could get a car to work at night is if the radios on the M/Cycles packed up. The one on my Grey m/cycle had a small problem. Give it a smack and it stopped working. Give it another smack and it would work again. In 1973 I was offered a few car positions (promotion in those days). Taumaranui, (No), Riverton or Motueka. We chose Motueka. In that time I patrolled the whole of the Motueka and Golden Bay Areas and at times this was extended to Murchison. At xmas times the MOT paid to hire a caravan and the Kaiteriteri Domain Board supplied
a campsite at the main gate of the Kaiteriteri Motor Camp. On New Years Eve 1977 my car was pelted by a group of youths with eggs and beer etc. I was able to identify a couple of the youths and so next morning I had the culprits cleaning my car. Technology has improved. Back then the Traffic Officers did not have stereo radios or tape decks in their cars and it was only in 1974 that patrol cars were fitted with heaters and demisters. When I or my partner Stuart Chalmers went over the Takaka Hill we had no radio communication and like the local Policeman over there we became isolated. If we needed help or information we went to either Paton Rock Beach or the Beach front at Collingwood and called New Plymouth Police. The Police then used a teletype machine to send a message to Nelson Police with what we wanted. That then got relayed back to us. While in Motueka I drove the Motueka St John Ambulance on a voluntary basis which also helped me
to administer first aid before the arrival of the ambulance at crashes. 1978 I was promoted to Sergeant in Charge New Lynn, Auckland. After 2 years, My wife and I decided that we did not like Auckland and that it was not the right place to bring up our kids so we moved to Dunedin in 1980. This was just after the Abbottsford Slips and the Major Taieri Plains floods. At Dunedin I was in charge of the Transport licensing Unit for a period after which I went back to running a staff of 6 Traffic Officers. During this time I was involved heavily in training other staff, lecturing to Public Groups and Road Transport Associations. I also lectured to the Otago Medical School students for a month each year for 5 years about the legal requirements and needs for the taking of blood samples either in the field or at Hospital A&E departments. I was also involved in the
One of the jobs we did in those days was escorting wide loads. In this case Stuart Chalmers and I had been asked if we could get this house from Decks Reserve to Swamp Rd Riwaka. Now days private contractors are used for this. setting up of the graduated driver licence program for New Zealand and the start of the “lifetime” driver licence system. Still no stereos or tape decks in Patrol cars. Next Newsletter: Highlights from Dunedin

Power to the People! Recently the Nelson Mail asked people if they were noticing higher electricity bills as part of a larger story on beneficiaries and the rising costs of living. The six printed answers all said ‘yes’. Some thought of changing their plan or power provider, or reducing their use by turning off lights, or switching to gas. While it takes determination to reduce power use by changing wasteful habits, checking whether it’s worthwhile to change a power supplier, or find out about insulation subsidies, can be complex and takes a lot of energy. If you’ve ever wished you could talk to someone who is not connected to a power provider, but can give you independent advice, contact the Citizens Advice Bureau Nelson Tasman.
CAB’s volunteers are trained to help no matter what you want to know, and they’re completely unbiased and non-judgemental. If they can’t help you, they’ll happily put you in touch with someone who can. Because CAB can access lots of resources, they’ll often make suggestions you haven’t thought of. A superanuitant recently called because he’d seen the ads on TV saying he should check www. whatsmynumber.org. nz to see if he was getting the best deal from his supplier. The government assumes everyone has internet access today, but he didn’t, and he wondered what he
could do? He was invited to bring a couple of recent power accounts to CAB, where a volunteer would enter his details onto the website and check things out with him. He was delighted it was so easy! But saving money on power isn’t just about different companies and payment plans. Savings can be made in other ways. Is there a more efficient way to heat your house? Or to keep the heat in once its warm? CAB volunteers want to help, and often they’ll come up with creative suggestions according to your particular circumstances. While they can explain the subsidies available for insulation, they might

also suggest checking an op-shop for thicker curtains! CAB can find information which compares various heating costs, what appliances cost to run, and explain what you must do if you’re medically dependant on a constant power supply. But CAB will help you with much more than issues about power. If you’ve wondered where to donate your stash of knitting wool, or wanted to talk to someone who won’t judge you about an employment, relationship or tenancy issue, give them a call. They can also help you read and understand complicated documents, draft a letter or fill in a form. And their
service is free. Their slogan ‘Not sure? Ask Us’ says it all. They don’t ask who you are, they don’t make judgements, and they don’t tell you what to do. They just listen, then give you the information and let you decide. If you enjoy a bit of detective work to find the answers, and are interested in expanding your own knowledge while helping others, contact CAB for an info pack about the 2012 Training Course. The Rates Rebate’s scheme The Rates Rebate’s scheme is in urgent need of an awareness campaign to ensure that all elderly receive their entitlements,” said Grey Power’s local body spokesman, Miles Jackson. “Grey Power is concerned that many people do not know that they can claim a full or partial rates rebate, depending on their circumstances.” Mr Jackson suggests that possibly Grey Power could voluntarily man booths in shopping centres to offer assistance in this regard along similar lines as the Tax Return booths that currently appear in malls. Retirement villages is another anomaly that Grey Power would like looked at. People occupying houses in retirement villages pay rates, yet are not entitled to a rates rebate. “When Grey Power raised this issue with the politicians, we received support from one party who said that they would rectify this if they were elected.” “Rates are a terrible burden to some seniors. Unlike power where you can cut back usage, savings cannot be made on rates. There seems to be no end to the rates increases and this is another area Grey Power wants councils to
shape up on. Seniors are caught between a rock and a hard place; they are on fixed income and rates are fact of life but the GST on rates is a big imposition. Another of the parties at the last election said they would remove GST off rates if elected.” The scheme is run by local councils with central government reimbursing the rebates to each council. The rebate is $580-00 per year adjusted with the CPI and seniors may be entitled to all or part of this depending on their income. “Any rebate can make a huge difference to the quality of life; money can be directed to necessities such as glasses and hearing aids.” Grey Power feels that the idea of the IRD handling this scheme to simplify the rebates process, may be a viable option. “For anyone who has not claimed their rebate, go speak to your local council. In our experience they are very helpful,” said Miles Jackson, Chair of Local Bodies Portfolio, Grey Power Federation NZ Inc. The Nelson City Council has made the following provision for the easier and safe payment of rates. “Easy Pay is a direct debit system

that allows you to pay bills automatically from your bank account. You can choose to have payments deducted weekly, fortnightly, monthly, annually, or on the various due dates (for rates this will be four times per year; for water rates this will be twice per year). Your Easy Pay form, authorised by Council, ensures your accounts are paid on time and for the correct amount. If the amount to be charged changes, Council will advise you and the bank of the new payment amount (this does not occur for those who set up their own Automatic Payment). If the due date falls on a non-business day, your payment will be made on the evening of the next business day. ASK FOR CARD
Press Release The Board has launched an important public awareness campaign – Ask for the Card – which aims to raise awareness among consumers about the importance of hiring authorised tradespeople. Sanitary plumbing, gasfitting and drainlaying are regulated trades in New Zealand and it’s illegal for anyone to do this work unless they are authorised by the Board to do so. The Board’s role as a regulator of these trades is to promote and safeguard the health and safety of people and prevent damage to their property by ensuring that those persons carrying out regulated work are competent to do so. All authorised tradespeople must carry their authorisation card issued by the Board. The authorisation card provides consum-
ers with confidence that they are hiring a competent tradesperson authorised by the Board to undertake the work. The key message for consumers is to ‘Ask for the Card’ – check to see if a tradesperson is authorised to carry out the work by asking to see their card. Hiring someone who isn’t authorised to do that work poses a significant health and safety risk to consumers and may also compromise their insurance cover. For any questions, or to check if a tradesperson is authorised, visit www. pgdb.co.nz/public or phone 0800 743 262. Max Pedersen Chief Executive

With all the new technology regarding fertility recently, a 65 year old friend of mine was able to give birth. When she was discharged from hospital and went home, I went to visit. ‘May I see the new baby?’ I asked. ‘Not yet,’ she said, ‘I’ll make coffee and we can chat for a while first.” Thirty minutes had passed, and I asked, ‘May I see the new baby now?’ ‘No, not yet.’ She said. After another few minutes had elapsed, I asked again, ‘May I see the baby now?’ ‘No, not yet,’ replied my friend. Growing very impatient, I asked, ‘Well, when can I see the baby?’ ‘When he cried?’ I demanded. “Why do I have to wait until he cries?’ ‘Because I forgot where I put him, okay?!’

THE TRIAL By “birdie”
Below is the story of one of our wonderful brave volunteer’s recent brush with the ‘Big C’ . One of the ways she dealt with her ordeal was to write this sometimes humorous, sometimes sad but always real account of what she went through. She has asked to remain anonymous. I’ve been to - or rather, through, a bit of a trial… Oh, not that I’ve done anything wrong - more like I’ve been DONE wrong! But let me explain. To start with, I was recently diagnosed with Hodgsons Lymphoma (who the hell was Hodgson and did he invent Lymphoma??) Anyway, as a result there followed a succession of hospital visits, the damn car park always full, even at an early hour. So numerous blood tests began, the first time I joked “you may have difficulty finding my vein, I have tough skin”! The technician gave me a blank look and plunged the first of 2 large needles into my arm, he had no sense of humour at all!! Second visit, the bloke couldn’t even find a vein and was certainly in a bad mood (well, serves him right) Next came the scan, lying flat on a very
hard “bed”, whilst moving through a large torpedo and those technicians all hid in another room … cowards all! Then, the ultimate humiliation, a bone marrow sample … want to know what that entails? Just a simple, painful succession of 3 needles into the top of my pelvic bone very near the “buttocks”(as Forrest Gump would say) To alleviate any anxiety, I made a joking remark, “Ooh, It’s been a long time since a man felt round my bottom”...... the tech made no comment - why are medics so grim? So travel to another city and an arduous day -in an unflattering gown. Firstly I was addressed as “now dear” - why dear? They don’t even know me! Sit in this chair, in this small room, no music on, no reading, KEEP STILL for an hour while another tech hooked me up to a drip and some insidious poison went through, round and all inside me.”Now dear, times up, just come through to this other room, bring your clothes with you in this charming basket/bucket and; lie down on this wonderful state of the art VERY hard table for 50 minutes and DON’T MOVE while our latest machine will photograph every little bit

Grey Power Nelson and bone and blood of you......above me an even larger “torpedo” carried out its job in a slow, whispering, cunning way. After all this time, and been dripped into, scanned over and DON’T MOVE, I was very tired - which wasn’t fair as all I did was lie about! The return home, the long wait to find out if I was still alive or not then learning that my lymph nodes were quite out of plum and “could be nasty dear, you need treatment”......”What? why can’t you just cut them out?” “sorry, you’ll need radiation” “What? Isn’t that used for nuclear bombs and things, isn’t that dangerous?” Then I had to read lots of pretty pamphlets, look intelligent and remember these people are very qualified. Away I go - again -to the other city and straight into a “chamber of horrors”! The trial begins. Lie flat on another very, very hard “plank” (don’t move!!) and this horrible, mask, like a huge lampshade with tiny holes all over, was clamped down over my face, chin, collar bone, out to shoulders while the two young men (who looked like college boys) chatted and laughed as they screwed me down hard to the plank! - HELP!!!!

And when the thing came off I was sure my skin had gone and only a nose bone left, felt all crumpled, I always wanted a cute button nose how cruel is fate??? Came home briefly, then back “there” again to settle in (is that what it’s called?) for 26 lovely treatments, each time the mask seemed to know I was there and caused me trouble, e.g. first day, “EEK, too tight, side of nose is pinched - take thing off and try again - second day, “No No - cutting in to my lips, cut a hole
for my mouth” ...request granted... and so it went, always something different to keep me at full anxiety throttle! In between days (which for November were mostly just above freezing and I had taken summer clothes - what a fool!) wandered about streets, watched ducks on the river, watched tourists falling about in kayaks and shouting at each other in foreign tongues, well, I suppose it made the days interesting - until the next day. And the next and so on......walked several miles, got lost in a park and wondered why I felt so tired? Wandered through the hospital and observed a Jack Nicholson look-alike in his - almost - backless gown, walking about amongst visitors...no-one took any notice, guess they didn’t see that movie? Took long, bumpy, rough bus rides to look at wreckage or huddle out of those freezing winds, fought against
depression, grief, sorrow, sadness, anger and you name it, anything else one can think of.......and then one day, I just jotted this down. The trial over, and I learnt what I’d always realised, what a perfectly marvellous place we live in, down here, down under. I will be forever humbled and grateful to those who inspected, x-rayed, scanned. bloodlet and filled me with “stuff ”. Those who accommodated me, made me feel special and had kindness in abundance. In the words of one other resident where I stayed, “You are each and everyone just bloody wonderful in every bloody way!!” God Bless one and all. (I have heard about the expression “being screwed” now I can tell you what it’s like.) Readers will be pleased to know that the specialists have told “Birdie” she will make a full recovery

Mayonnaise Jar and Two Cups Of Coffee A professor stood before his philosophy class and had some items in front of him. When the class began, wordlessly he picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls. He then asked the students whether the jar was full. They agreed it was. The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golfs balls. He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They agreed it was. The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar. Of course, the sand filled up everything else. He asked once more if the jar was full. The students responded with an unanimous “yes”. The professor then produced two cups of coffee from under the table
and poured the entire contents into the jar, effectively filling the empty space between the sand. The students laughed. “Now,” said the professor as the laughter subsided, “I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life. The golf balls are the important things – your God, your family, your children, your health, your friends and your favourite passions – things that if everything else were lost and only they remained, your life would still be full. “The pebbles are the other things that matter like your job, your house and your car. The sand is everything else – the small stuff. “if you put the sand into the jar first,” he continued, “there is no room for the pebbles or golf balls. The same goes for life. If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff,
FOR ALL YOUR MOBILITY NEEDS PRODUCTS, ACCESSORIES AND REPAIRS
you will never have room for the things that are important to you. “Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness: • Play with your children • Take time to get medical checkups • Take your spouse out for dinner “There will always be time to clean the house and fix the dishwasher”. “Take care of the golf balls first – the things that really matter. Set your priorities. The rest is just sand”. On of the students raised her hand and inquired what the coffee represented. The professor smiled. “I’m glad you asked. It just goes to show you that, no matter how full your life may seem, there’s always room for a couple of cups of coffee with a friend.” Reprinted courtesy Mana Tawa Grey Power N/L Marsden House presents
‘Snippets of History’ NELSON HOSPITAL Small and badly run hospitals in Nelson prompted the Provincial Council, in 1858, to call for plans to create a “state of the art” hospital. The new hospital was finally completed in 1869 on the present Nelson Hospital site. It consisted of an office block, two 30-bed wings for women and men, a few beds for the dangerously ill, and shelters for Tuberculosis patients. The cost was 2500 pounds. For more Snippets of History contact Marsden House. Volume One and Two available for $15 each; or in a two-disc audio CD pack for $25. Proceeds are donated to local Nelson charities.
