4 FULFILL Schools throughout Monmouth County participated in the Students Change Hunger Competition. Program participants collected and donated food to Fulfill,7 which feeds local families in need. 4–5 Students drop off their food donations.

The Count Basie Center for the Arts in Red Bank celebrated the opening of the Grunin Arts and Education Building. The new facility is one of the cornerstones of the Basie Center’s expansion, providing new classrooms, studio and performance space as part of the Count Basie Center Academy of the Arts programming. 1 State, county and local dignitaries celebrate the grand opening od the Grunin Arts and Education Building.
LUNCH BREAK Cherubini Chiropractic donated $14,000 to help support Lunch Break families struggling with food and financial insecurities. Funding will help the Red Bank food distribution center provide meals, clothing and life skills to community members in need. 6 Cherubini Chiropractic staff presents its donation.

GIRL SCOUTS OF THE JERSEY SHORE The Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore received a van donated by United Way of Monmouth and Ocean Counties. The van, refurbished by Causeway Family of Dealerships in Manahawkin, was part of the “CauseWheels” program, which helps neighbors have a positive impact on the community. The vehicle will be used by the Girl Scouts for tours and other support operations. 2–3 Members of Causeway Family of Dealerships, United Way of Monmouth and Ocean and the Girl Scouts celebrate the van donation.

UNITED WAY OF MONMOUTH AND OCEAN COUNTIES The United Way of Monmouth and Ocean Counties’ 2021 Warmest Wishes Coat Drive gave more than 3,500 local preschool, elementary and middle school students in need of a new coat this past winter. 8 Youngsters show off their new coats received through the United Way’s coat drive.
