SINK OR SWIM Bonk, Slap, Tap, or Bang - whatever your choice of words. The Plank will destroy anything in its path with ruthless vigor. True to its name, we kept the Indestructoid sintered base flat and lifted the perimeter edge giving the Plank a hangup-free ride in and out of the park. A thinner taper to the core profile maximizes flex and control on rails. If you like floaty freestyle fun behind the boat, the wide center creates insane ollie snap without the need for unnecessary core profile thickness. This refined piece of wood is a

The weapon of choice among many of our team members, the 1up uses the latest in technical machining techniques to fly high and fast. We took our CNC Flexcavation to another level, machining sizable contours into the top deck which keep rigidity in key areas while reducing the overall board weight. Less swing weight means you can concentrate on pushing your riding from above. We tuned the 1up with a blended 3 stage rocker line to give it a more aggressive feel off the wake and then transitioned the center base channels to a flattened tip and tail for catch-free pressing around the park. The 1up is waiting for your next seek and destroy mission.

Chris O’Shea is a genuine dude that works hard at pushing the envelope. So we weren’t sweating when he wanted chamfered variable edges, tip to tail base channels, and a new double belly base feature on his pro model board. Beyond the Alliance Rider of The Year honors and other numerous riding achievements, Chris O’ captures awesome wakeboarding moments on camera. So rad in fact, it made complete sense to have a board designed as awesome as he shoots. It wasn’t easy but this is straight from the man himself. Enjoy the ride.

Just like internet memes, certain styles come and go. Remember directional boards? Meh, neither do we. Some styles do stand the test of time. They provide the foundation for a great session and warm memories through a cold winter. The Huxtable makes us feel that way. When you’re ready to send it, the board has a recessed belly and base channels which give riders a level surface to get creative in the park. The slightly concave tip and tail allow team thrasher Mitch Langfield to get aggressive with his presses. The Huxtable will make you feel at home in any tricky situation. He even comes in 4 bitchin’ color ways.

FEATURED BOARD TECH
A WORD ABOUT ROCKERS. Rocker directly affects the speed of your board as you ride across the water. The more rocker bend added, the more water the board will push. This makes the board feel slower under your feet. As you take bend away, you allow the water to flow faster beneath you, making the board feel faster. This begs the question, if less rocker is faster, why do we bend boards? The short answer... more rocker produces more pop. The more bend (rocker) in the nose, the larger deflection off the wake. Translation; it gives you a more vertical trajectory instead of a horizontal trajectory. Herein lies the challenge; pop high or pop far? Our full line or boards answers this question by creating an ideal blend of speed and pop aimed at the performance you’re expecting based off your riding preference. Our focus has been trying to find the perfect rocker line for each riding style so you can enjoy your time on the water.
Paying attention to detail makes all the difference when building high quality crafted boards. So if you read the small type, we assume you care about wakeboarding just as much as we do. We got you covered. Sandwich construction has been around ever since surfers put directional boards and velcro straps on their feet. Sandwich construction is a more labor intensive process vs traditional compression molded boards and it shows our commitment to work towards manufacturing progression for the enjoyment of wakeboarding. The process of stacking layers of materials allows us to experiment with variable flex and board control. The result is a more durable and lively wakeboard when compared to their traditional foam or hybrid counterparts. We use sandwich construction exclusively for our entire line of wakeboards.
Think of continuous rocker as a single arc from the bottom of the base extending upward toward the nose and tail. The majority of our boards are manufactured with this type of rocker because of its longstanding consistency of pop, faster speed, and easy accommodation of various riding styles and environments. If you’re looking to try a setup and get ripping in any riding environment, give our Ol’ Pappy’s Continuous Rocker a try. Our board designer, Schmidty, formulated a rocker line that blended a 3 stage rocker with three continuous rocker curves. By reducing the flat spot normally found in a 3 stage rocker, our hybrid rocker line maintains the perfect speed and consistency of a continuous rocker without sacrificing increased upward pop found in 3 stage rockers.
Our 3-dimensional targeted wood core milling gives us unsurpassed accuracy in determining the areas of thickness in a board’s profile. Flexcavation creates variable machined arcs and channels in each board which activate areas of flex and help maintain strength and integrity in each board. Less is more and by milling flex patterns into specific areas of the core we create the desired ride without adding unnecessary features or materials.
What do we say about Kyle Schmidt? Besides being one hell of a model American, the 18 year industry veteran has his hands & heart in everything we build. Using his years of experience on and off the water, we make sure everything we release has his stamp of approval. Our standard in core profiling. We use an even core thickness between binding inserts to create a more abrupt response off the wake. From the outside of the inserts moving towards the tip & tail, we mill a more lean core profile. This thinner profile in the tip and tail creates powerful snap, insanely soft landings, and a more controlled board response on rail. Our specially formulated sintered bases surpass the durability demands of our transient team of rail abusers. It offers grease-like viscosity on rails, a catch free glide behind the boat and unsurpassed optical clarity.
M6 is a worldwide metric standard. More threads and a tighter tolerance creates a stronger interface between your board and bindings resulting in a rattle free feeling out on the water. Each of our M6 inserts have heights dictated by core thickness. The universal pattern gets pressed through the core, top to bottom, which yields up to 150% more strength over industry insert standards.
The core is really just that - the heart & soul of a board. It determines many of the riding characteristics even before we start experimenting with layups and technical space age composites. All of our boards use vertically laminated Paulownia Species Woodland I-cores from tip to tail, rail to rail, because of it’s consistent energy, response, and unsurpassed durability. You won’t find any notches or irregularities in our wood cores. The Paulownia Woodland I-Core creates consistent energy and produces lively pop season after season.
One of the major differences between our Sandwich Constructed boards vs. traditional compression molded wakeboards is our use of Gnarwalls. Gnarwalls are like medieval armor for your board. We lay high impact resistant rubber urethane into the entire perimeter of each board. We then machine each Gnarwall with a variable bevel that allows us to engineer grip when charging the wake, and a looser feel when riding flat.
We use alternating layers of quality-stitched triaxial weave fiberglass sourced from the most well respected fabric supplier in the industry. Triaxial fiberglass is the overwhelming weave of choice because it ensures maximum torsional rigidity from fibers that hit at 0,+ / - 45 angles . We use a wet lay-up process, done by hand, to achieve exact epoxy saturation on all of our boards.
Our focus is on providing the highest quality combination of Polystyrene foam, resin, and cloth performance on the surf market today. EPX2 substantially increases buoyancy in each surfer resulting in a more lively and smooth ride from rail to rail and a more enjoyable surfing experience on your endless wave. EPX2 ‘epoxy’ Surf Construction sets the bar high for responsive, high performance surf.
Our EPX2 cores sandwich a balsa stringer. The stringer keeps the the surfer lively through turns, control flex, and helps maintain board rocker through its lifetime.
Elevated EVA diamond traction for maximum grip on the top deck. The recessed top deck also features a raised center spine along the stringer. Find the sweet spot without spilling your beer.
Integrated rear EVA foam kicks for a strong foothold when snapping carves. Lay into some barrels and get on it. Watah!
WAKESURFERS
Hand shaping allows for variable rail designs and gives effortless turn initiation. Our hand shaped surfers have exceptional buoyancy which help keep the nose above water and the board riding fast on any size wave.
All Humanoid wakesurfer fins and fin boxes are compatible with Future Fins. Easily replace, customize, or tune your board with any Futures Fins available on the market.
FEATURED BINDING TECH
Smart Toof Technology is the foundation of our binding program. We simplified stance adjustments and angled the chassis teeth vertically to completely eliminate “loose screw” binding wobbles while riding. This patent pending technology provides for most secure boot to board mounting system to date.
All the comforts you need while taking flight without any of the excess baggage. Flight Foam is our secret for producing some of the lightest, moldable EVA liners on the market. Flight Foam features anatomically contoured footbeds, molded liner tongues, and J bars. Those barnacle ridden feet of yours will be flying first class.
Water logged boots can feel like cement shoes. Tiny holes located in the toe, heel, and directly underfoot quickly drain water and aid in boot moisture & temperature control. Don’t let your feet smell like hot garbage Your significant other will thank us.
Three separate locations of adjustable boot tension maximizes your preference of binding foot security. Upper and lower springless lace locks keep your customized fit maintained during riding while an optional upper Velcro strap keep things quick and cleanus.
We removed rigid interior sections of the binding base to promote direct feedback from the board to your feet. A quicker board response reduces foot fatigue and extends riding time. Assembled from a unique mixture of Dupont® nylon & glass, our rigid Z-bar across the base of each binding chassis eliminates boot lift and torsional twisting. Create more leverage from your toes and ankles for improved board response.
You’re not learning if you’re not crashing. Crash Panels help minimize aches, pains, and pinches that correspond with wakeboarding. Our EVA molded heel and tongue panels stretch at common points of hyper flexion during hard falls, making big airs and hard crashes easier on the feet. New for 2014! Our insanely fast Velcro tightening system. V Fly Straps give you effortless entry and a snug fit inside & out. Tighten the lower inside liner and outer shell with a single pull across the ankle. Increase ankle support with an optional velcro strap across the boot collar and eliminate any unwanted ankle movement. Marty Mcfly would be proud!
