Definition of Clear space, Computation, Maximum & Minimum Sizing

It is important to keep brand marks clear of any other graphic elements. To regulate this, an exclusion zone has been established around the brand mark. This exclusion zone indicates the closest any other graphic element or message, can be positioned in relation to the mark.

The symbol itself and typographic elements have a fixed relationship that should never be changed in any way.

Definition of Clear Space

Whenever you use the logo, it should be surrounded with clear space to ensure its visibility and impact. No graphic elements of any kind should invade this zone.

Computation

To work out the clear space needed around the logo, divide the logo into 4 quadrants, and using the measurement of one of the quadrants, expand around the logo. The clearspace is indicated on the following diagram.

This measurement will allow enough space around the logo, ensuring no other element overpowers or obstructs the logo.

Maximum & Minimum size

There is no maximum size for our logo, however the intended size needs to be legible, clear and sharp for its intended size.

The minimum size for the logo is 10mm or 28.3 px. This allows the logo to be reduced to a suitable size, but allowing the wordmark to stay legible.
