The Building Industry and Land Development Alberta Association (BILD Alberta) is pleased to announce that Fraser de Walle has been elected as BILD Alberta’s fifth Chair of the Association to serve a term of one year.
“I’m honoured to be part of this dynamic Association and lead the progress and strategic initiatives our board has developed. I look forward to addressing challenges and supporting an industry that continues to be one of Alberta’s largest economic contributors,” de Walle says.
De Walle, a Senior Vice President for Marsh Canada, is well equipped for the position. He leads Marsh Canada’s West Zone Construction team and National Residential Construction segment. De Walle is a trusted risk management consultant and long-time volunteer that brings a wealth of experience to the residential construction and development industry.
Before serving on the provincial board, de Walle served as Treasurer and Director of BILD Calgary Region, on the Canadian Home Builders’ Association (CHBA) National – Marketing Committee and on the CHBA Calgary – Marketing Council. de Walle is succeeding Paul Boskovich of Calgary, who will remain on the board in the position of Past Chair for one year.
“I look forward to serving this industry as we emerge from the pandemic and finding opportunities to carry on the advocacy work of my predecessors to build a better Alberta for today and the future,” de Walle says. BILD Alberta Association (Building Industry and Land Development) is the unified voice for the land development, home building and renovation industry in Alberta. BILD Alberta represents over 1,400 business members from nine constituent associations committed to building communities throughout the province.
