Wallace State Annual Career Fairs
On February 29th and March 14th Wallace State Community College held its annual career fairs. Thank you to the 99 companies who participated in these events! Throughout the two days employers were able to connect with more than 300 students looking for fulltime employment or internship opportunities. The career fairs are crucial in connecting employers with qualified candidates for their open positions and also serve as a great educational tool for students to learn about the many, many companies and organizations in north Alabama where they can apply what they’ve learned in the classroom to the incredible industries in our area.

Industry Comes to Wallace State
If your company is looking for a chance to connect with current Wallace State students sooner than our Spring career fair, you do not want to miss out on one of our Industry Comes to Wallace State (ICW) dates this Fall! Each month, we offer up to six companies the opportunity to provide students with a 15-20 minute presentation on what their company does, the career paths available, company culture, and benefits and wages. This is a great way to provide some in-depth information to students and soon-to-be graduates about what your company has to offer. During the event, companies can set up a table career fair style for one-on-one conversations with individuals interested in your company.
