At the first possible opportunity I had, I worked on client briefs. I needed to experience it as soon as possible, to get a taster for what it is like, and whether it is suited to me. Having now worked on multiple briefs for clients, I can say that I have learnt an awful lot along the way. Some briefs were straight-forward, whilst others were challenging and sometimes quite stressful. I have worked with Tesco and Love Food Hate Waste, Tony Broomhead, an architect from OS31, as well as family friends, who sometimes prove to be the most challenging of clients to work with. These eye opening experiences have given me an insight into the world of freelance, allowing me to gain confidence in my abilities, and have also demonstrated to me just how capable I am after four years of intensive study (including Art Foundation).
