Brief and Research in Leeds Research was carried out in the centre of Leeds to try and find inspiration to help answer this brief. Leeds based design studio, Something More, visited Leeds College of Art and set a brief to work on individually. Everyone was given a different occupation to work with, and had to create something wonderful. This included the branding and the story that comes with it. The occupation received was ‘carer’ and it took a lot of exploration of ideas before reaching
the most successful. It was most certainly a challenging brief, and left quite open ended. This meant that there was more pressure to produce something which was impressive. All of the above research indicates the exploration into interactive design and current events already happening in Leeds for carers. Some of the images, for example the pop up store in Trinity, simply supplied inspiration for layout and potential within even a small space.
