Aria Translations Aria - Voi avete un cor Fedele You have a faithful heart like a passionate lover: But my husband would say What will he do? Will he change? Tell me, what happens then? Will you stay loyal? Ah, I think not. I already foresee You could swindle me. Not yet Not right now I’m not going to trust you. I’m not going to trust you. Not yet, not right now, I’m not going to trust you. What will he do? Will he change? You have a faithful heart like a passionate lover: But my husband would say What will he do? Will he change? Tell me, what happens then? Will you stay loyal? Ah, I think not. I already foresee You could swindle me. Not yet Not right now I’m not going to trust you. But my husband would say What will he do? Will he change? Tell me, what happens then? Will you stay loyal? Ah, I think not. I already foresee You could swindle me. Not yet. Not right now I’m not going to trust you. You have a faithful heart. like a passionate lover: Not yet, Not right now
I’m not going to trust you, Not yet, not right now I’m not going to trust you. Aria - Vorrei spiegarvi, oh Dio Let me explain, oh God, What my grief is! But fate has condemned me To weep and stay silent. My heart may not pine For the one I would like to love Making me seem hard-hearted And cruel. Ah, Count, part from me, Run, flee Far away from me; Your beloved Emilia awaits you, Don’t let her languish, She is worthy of love. Ah, pitiless stars! You are hostile to me. I am lost when he stays. Part from me, run, Speak not of love, Her heart is yours. Aria – Ah se in ciel, benigne stelle Ah, if in heaven, kindly stars, Compassion has not vanished, Either take away my life Or release my beloved to me. You who yet glow so beautifully Upon the pleasing face of my beloved, Protect the pure affection That you inspire in my breast.
