This issue of Maryam Magazine is signifcant as is marks 10 years since the launch of the magazine. We are truly blessed to have the guidance of our beloved Khalifah, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, Khalifatul Masih VMay Allah be his Helper, whose love and care for every member of the Jama’at is evident in his every word and action. Hazuraba graciously launched Maryam Magazine with the objective of giving Waaqifaat-e-Nau an opportunity to increase their knowledge when writing for and reading the magazine and to provide them with a platform to display their full potential.

In a letter to Waqfe Nau girls on the launch of Maryam Magazine on 27th January 2012 Hazuraba wrote:

“It has given me great pleasure to know that a magazine has been launched for the Waqfe Nau girls… I pray that Allah Almighty may enables you all to

write for it and to draw immense benefts from this magazine.…It is essential for the Waqfe Nau girls to remember the history of waqf. It was a woman who frst dedicated her child before its birth and that Waqfe Nau was also a

woman called Maryam… This status of your Waqf and the honour that goes with it is not a trivial matter, but this reverence can only become your pride

and joy if you fulfl the demands of the Waqf and live your life with absolute loyalty to the Institute of Khilafat.

…You as the Waqfe Nau girls, are expected to keep the fag of knowledge and its application fying higher than any other standard… It therefore becomes more signifcant that you do not let the world’s new inventions and their attractions dominate your lifestyle. Instead, it is mandatory for

you to take forward the religious objectives of Hazrat Masih Maudas and to

always be ready to serve your religious obligations. For this you need to

march onwards with the sky as your limit, with your minds, knowledge and

its applications rising to reach the celestial heights.”

May Allah enable us all to follow the example of Hazrat Maryamas and be true Waqfe Nau and enable us to derive true beneft from this magazine as our beloved Hazuraba intended us to. Ameen.
