Hope you all had an enjoyable extended weekend and are ready for the week ahead. First thing that has to be mentioned is that there is a student-run, confidential, and non-judgemental listening service called Nightline that is available to you. This means you can stop by, call or email them for any reason and they won't judge you or tell you what to do. Nightline is trying to improve students’ awareness of eNewsletter their service and have created a survey to get your Week 2 – Term 3 feedback. The survey is completely anonymous and will take under 5 minutes to complete. It is open indefinitely and can be found here. The SU is currently looking to recruit a number of students from all sectors of the student community to join the Trustee Board. Being part of the Trustee Board at Warwick Students' Union is both exciting and challenging. We are looking for students who have a variety of skills that will help to drive the organisation forward from its current position to one that is stronger, more confident and with increased credibility with our members. The Students’ Union is the heart of Campus and is full of facilities and services so that you don’t ever have to leave The Bubble. We have various printing services whether you are printing essays or huge posters. We have a Student Advice Centre that can support and advise with all sorts of issues. We have food outlets ranging from quick take away baguettes in The Bread Oven, restaurant meals in Xanana’s and Pub food up in The Dirty Duck. Did you know that Unitemps are now located in the Students’ Union building? Six Days of Summer might seem ages away but looking how fast tickets have been going, you might need to get yours now: Over 1200 Summer Party tickets have been sold! More than 600 Sports Ball tickets have been tapped up! Less than 100 tickets are left for the Graduation Ball! WSAF plans are well underway The above all happened in less than a week. Those events with tickets have a limited capacity so make sure you get your ticket soon to avoid disappointment. This week there are big events such as Love Music Hate Homophobia with live performances from *Hot Magenta*, *Just Panic* and *Moitissier* on Tuesday and the Society Awards which celebrates different society achievements takes place on Thursday on top of the other events.

Skool Dayz At Skool Dayz we will be bringing you the best (and worst!) tunes from your youth. In Room 1, those timeless classics from the 90s and early 00s are given full reign for a round of gleeful nostalgia while RAG man the sweet stall throughout the night. For those of you who consider yourselves "too cool for school", Room 2 where will be jamming some old-skool hip-hop, funk and breakbeats behind the bike sheds.
General Election Viewing May the 6th marks one of the biggest elections that we are going to witness for a long time to come. The picture on the left was from last week’s debate aired in the Atrium. On Thursday we will stay open all night and be serving drinks and food so there is no reason for you to be anywhere else but where you belong; right in the heart of the Union.
STATE OF TRANCE Hommous society and Rave SocTM presents the most exhilarating rave this year. Four DJs will be whacking out rhythms from 21:00 till 2:00. Music genres include techno, house, electro, dub-step and drum & bass. As if that wasn't enough: There will be special offers and of course FREE hommous and pitta in the early hours. Strategy Bites: Warwick Prize for Writing Wednesday 5 May 2010 12:30pm to 1:30pm Sutherland Staff Lounge The third lunchtime Strategy Bites session of the Spring Term will take place on Wednesday 5 May from 12.30 to 1.30 in the Sutherland Staff Lounge, Rootes Building. Lunch will be included. Professor Jeremy Treglown, Director of the 2011 Warwick Prize for Writing, will lead the session. More information here.
