rue fashion has a mind of its own. Liberating and nonconforming, it has the ability to break conventions and stir a rebellion. On Day 2 of HT City Print Fashion Week, we celebrate this free spirit of fashion that doesn’t succumb to norms. We present to you fashion designer Namrata Joshipura’s lively and avantgarde collection Concrete Garden, inspired by the vibrancy of New York. “The city is a mash-up of amazing street style juxtaposed with innovative ideas in fashion, art and technology. Cultures and attitudes blend to smake an incredible international city that is about inclusivity, hope, and above all, love,” says Joshipura. You see these very attributes reflected in her collection that’s fearless and inspiring.

joined hands with Munish and Sandeep to get the film rolling. “Having these 15 people as co-producers or patrons of Moh Maya Money was a huge blessing. With my super team of producers working together on this film, every set of challenges was met with the power of 15!” says Munish. Distributed by PVR Pictures, Moh Maya Money is set to release on November 25.

Not for the fashion greenhorns, it features imaginative, lighthearted garments such as jumpsuits, sheer maxis with jackets and thigh-high slit dresses that spell unbridled glam. Playful cuts, cheerful florals and sequin work bring alive the garments that are equally apt for a honeymoon or a sparkly wedding cocktail.

love travelling,” says actor Sidharth Malhotra in his baritone, as he speaks from New Zealand. His last film, Bar Bar Dekho, did not do too well at the box office. But Malhotra says he doesn’t regret the decision to work in it. “I really liked the concept and the message. But it wasn’t accepted. We are also man enough to accept that. I have no regrets,” he says. He’s had one flop and one hit in the same year. How long does it take to cope with either? “The longer you have worked in the industry, the quicker you get over it. That’s experience. I

The actor, who is currently unwinding in New Zealand, has made it a ritual to take time off and explore new places every year — no matter his chock-a-block schedule. Malhotra, who had two bigbudget releases this year, is already shooting for his next movie and has signed two unannounced projects. “This year has been a roller coaster ride,” says the actor. Asked how he caught the travel bug, Malhotra says, “The ritual that I started a couple of years ago is that I need to see one more city
