f you want to make a wish this Christmas season, here’s your chance to do so. Come and visit the Fever Tree of Wishes by Fever Entertainment at DLF Place, Saket. The tree, which is about 70-feet-tall, has become a landmark of attraction, ever since its installation on Wednesday. The base of the spiral-shaped silver net tree rests on a castle made of an imitation of red bricks. All you need to do is buy a helium balloon, priced at R100 from the venue, write your wish on it, go inside the castle and then release it. The first balloon was released by children of a Delhi-based NGO. The tree, which is decorated by silver and golden bells and artificial leaves, has made quite some heads turn at the mall. “The tree is a wonderful concept! I hope my wish comes true,” says Raman Agarwal, a college student. Other events lined up include a jig session by Punjabi pop singer Ashok Masti, story telling sessions, a puppet show and magic shows at regular intervals throughout the day. The most sought after event will be the session with Radio Jockey Khurafati Nitin. Various NGOs from across the city, along with other known faces, are expected to pay a visit to the event. Girls dressed like fairies and Santa with candies add to the fun element. The tree, which will be in its full glory when illuminated at night , can also be seen at The Forum Mall in Bengaluru.
