VISUAL ARTS TRAINER For Debra Golden, art is more than a vocation. It’s a life-giving passion to be shared. “Art communicates something of who we are as individuals and a culture and reaches out to our hearts as well as our minds,” says Golden. “It allows me to express myself without the limits of language.” Having taught art since she was in graduate school, Golden’s students experience that passion. She nurtures students to grow as artists to levels they didn’t expect possible. Through hands-on activities, demonstrations and individual feedback, students are encouraged to find their own style as their inner artist emerges.
