Introduction Waste Warriors is a not-for-profit NGO working in the field of waste management, working in the Dharamsala, Dehradun, and Corbett areas, conducting door-to-door collection, event waste management, education programs, awareness-raising, and advocacy. We are currently recruiting an Operations Manager for our Dharamsala project location to plan, implement, delegate, manage, document, and monitor our waste management operations in Bhagsunag ward of Dharamsala and on the Triund trail and campsites on Forest Dept. land. Responsibilities of the Operations Manager 1. Plan, implement, and delegate all scheduled operations, especially clean-up drives and door-to-door waste collection service. 2. Monitor daily operations and document all related data, including waste segregation, collection service establishments, routes, and dues, Green Worker attendance, etc. 3. Evaluate efficiency, effectiveness, and results of operations and implement changes. 4. Record and report all operations related income and expenditures. 5. Plan growth strategies for door-to-door collection and dustbin/signage infrastructure. 6. Supervise Green Workers, mediate between them, and respond to complaints. 7. Liaison and partner with similar organisations and government bodies to tackle waste management issues pertaining to our project.

8. Provide senior staff and head office with operations data and reports. 9. Search and plan for opportunities to replicate SWM models outside project locations.
A Successful Candidate Will: ● Have completed a college degree or vocational diploma ● Have a genuine interest in working in the social sector ● Be passionate about the environment and a cleaner India ● Enjoy working with local and foreign volunteers, and community members. ● Be bilingual (must be able to speak English and Hindi fluently) ● Have prior experience in social work, operations, and management ● Have a basic knowledge of waste management and eager to learn more
