Sorry that is it taking such a long time. That drives me nuts when they do that. (Kinda like loooooooong sentences with no periods.) At least the wait is almost over ... I hope. __________________

I Hope you get the watches back in good working order Matt. Four months is ridiculous for any vendor, Invicta really needs to get on the ball. I've been lucky with my Invicta purchases so far. If one ever needs service, I'd really have to think twice about sending it to Invicta, unless it needed a whole new movement. __________________

My wife and I have many good friends in Switzerland and those folks DO love to travel!
... Anyway, the last time a sweet couple from Villigen (a little town north of Zurich) came through Arizona, we spent some fun times together. And, of course, over dinner, the discussion always turned to watches! FYI, I was shocked to learn that they readily accept 'repair turn-around times' as long as four months - on 'Haute Horology' (manufacture) timepieces! And they LIVE in Switzerland! ... Unbelievable, but, I swear, TRUE!!! __________________ HI! - I'm Larry & I'm Wacky About Watches -

I placed a parts order on April 29, and my order was completed at the end of May. Sounds like good service right? WRONG. My order was place on April 29th, but the year was 2009. I hope you get your watches back, faster than it took to get my parts. Good luck, Ken.. Your right hand, left hand analogy may have some validity. It seems to be a common complaint theme if you read between the lines of the complaint threads. R __________________

@ Matt: I'm glad I'm not alone. Bought my 1st Invicta (SANIII Yellow in rubba) back in Jan 10'. 2 months afterward the crown pin (the middle button that pulls out to adjust the dial had fallen out). Long story short, it wasn't under warranty. The watch was received by Invicta March 5th (I checked the Fedex tracking); weeks gone by, no update via web or email. Call
mid May and some lady said it should be on the way back to me. Called last week and got the same result. Emailed them this morning and they asked me to call their CS direct line. It has been 3 long months since the watch was sent back to "Fix", or repaired. Ends up some dude called me back and said the watch is still in repair "somewhere" (That's his exact words). He apologized for the inconvenience and offered me out right to ship me the SAME watch but in "NEW" condition. I asked him what's that, and he replied he'll replaced the EXACT watch for me. Ooh, okay, I was kinda amazed..For better or worse....let's see what's up in the next week. I'm just afraid ending up I'll be getting a lesser movement with the same watch. BTW, how can you tell what movement it has? Thanks guys. __________________ What? You don't have time? a local jewler and a little cash out of pocket might be a better solution if the watch needs to be with you that bad. its still a shame that new watches have to go through that. hope you get it back soon. __________________ Did you see that? I know it's maddening Matt but Invicta CS lives in another world. If you want a repair or part for a particular model, they have to send it to the factory where that particular watch is made and that goes for obtaining the parts also. They don't stock very much in Hollywood. It's basically just their Corporate headquarters. I have been waiting weeks for a couple screws that fell out of one of mine. You just have to be patient and live with it. I ordered a leather band for one of my new Lupah's, they told me up front it will be between six to eight weeks. They will have to have it shipped from where they have the Lupah's made. the whole mindset of customer service can be very different in europe for sure. from resturaunts to hotels etc... i know i am still amazed at how poor customer service is in the UK. but locals just accept it. so it might be just a culture thing we (invicta) etc... are battling. not to minimize the pain we feel on this side. as the customer we really do not care about "your" internal logistic issues. just get my stuff back to me in 4 weeks, not 4 months. i wonder if i were able to send one of my rolexes to switzerland for its 5 year service, what turnaround time would i get? i have sent to NY and dallas service centers and always got the watch back in 4-6 weeks.. complete inspection, disassembly and any repair needed. wonder what the turnaround time would be if i had to send to a "geneva service center"? mike __________________ Rolex, Omega, Benrus, Poljot, Oceanaut, Lucien Picard, Tag Heuer, Invicta and Renato in my collection... zak98 View Public Profile Send a private message to zak98 Send email to zak98 Find all posts by zak98 Add zak98 to Your Contacts

It would be great if they assigned a tracking # to your watch. And at any given moment you could click on the tracking # to see the status of your watch. It could provide info such as the watch is in transit, waiting repair,on the bench etc. Seems such a simple solution. Man if you have more than one watch in for repair at a time you need to think about maybe switching to another brand....thats just awful
