Re: Russian Titanium Dreadnaught (gag) Not a problem Eddy............it's sort of an honor when you think about it.....you know, being banned from Jim Skelton's (aka Corona Gorda/fatecrush) Kool-Aid Forum :-! ..........You have been disassociated from a forum hijacked by Don (I prefer to call him Dick)...............imagine,it has taken them a year to find out what we already know about Invicta B-) .....and thus, the name change! Thanks, Ken...I am actually far more puzzled about how one would go about coating SS with Titanium...Not my area, so I don't know whether that is a big deal or a simple process. . .. As to the other forum..I think I posted maybe 30 posts in 6 months...Whereas with WUS, I have posted 250 (counting this'n) since the February crash...Probably over 1000 total....But you are right...even the mods over there are becoming quite candid and outspoken about the nvcta shortcomings....And to be fair, I think I got banned more because I broke their little rules than because I slammed the watch. Federal privacy regulations??gimme a break! I hope it doesn't happen, but I think that forum may collapse of it's own weight..Not happy to predict it either...The more discourse the better..

You definately got booted for breaking the rules. Rightfully so, too. Not only did you break the rules but you goofed on the product to boot. Really musta got their goat. Jim would/should be happy though. You gave him more advertisement, Right? I just think the rules that they have enforced go completely against what they built that forum on. Same names, different people.

Well. ...yes and no....They can kick me off their forum for any reason they choose...the moral high ground is not a requirment. Clearly, they believe that it is their right to restrict their members from using materials that lie within the public domain just because they may be posted on their site. Their only remedy is to kick out the member and restrict further access. ..which they could do if they didn't like my green eyes. I admit I re-used a picture that was found on their site. I am fine with the consequences. The picture was not theirs in the first place. and therefore not theirs to limit further use. I have really enjoyed this thread and found it educational and stimulating. ..biggest disappointment was NAC
