haha! I recall now a trade I had with Corona Gorda/Diamond Jim...He was usuing the name "Tom" at the time...I met him down in VA at the Dulles Center Mall. We took a picture for the record...and I thought nothing of him saying "Please don't put that pic on the forum." He later revealed his real name...I guess he knew I'd see him on ShopNBC in a few weeks and say "Hey! That's Tom!!!" hahaha... So clandestine...so clever.

Some of these vendors are just way too happy about dumping their worthless goods and having these TV sales people do their dirty work. If any of these products were worth anything they wouldn't need to resort to all of the BS and Rolex, Omega, Seiko would be out of business. I would not feel comfortable about giving most of the TV watches as a gift. I tried that a couple of times and it backfired. There really is no excuse to buy this junk. There are tons of preowned watches that you can get and they may actually be worth something, at least, in the future. Over the last few years I have not seen anything on TV as being a collectable and it appears to be getting worse. If any of them knew his REAL past and sociopathic behavior they would RUN, not walk, to their computers and find better watches with better prices and a much nicer group of fellow WIS to commiserate with. I also just have to discern that Slop was giving the poor Brit some "training" time with "the watch guru". ???? Kind of like putting the lamb in with the wolf!

Or would that be SHEEP?

MUCH LARGER!

Even more disconcerting is the fact that the watch vendors will obviously "look the other way" as long as they can sell their wares. It makes all of them seem seedy and more than a little greedy too. If the dumb arse would keep his braggart mouth shut about each and every watch, ring, large screen TV and other swag items he has purchased, his past of owing money to multiple persons he has scammed would seem less obvious and certainly less "in their face" !
