I (perhaps incorrectly) assumed (and we all know about making assumptions) that Mike had some say and/or knowledge regarding the technical aspects of the watches made by Invicta. Not to get off topic, but I do want to address this. I have no "say" in the watches at all. I am not a designer. I do get technical info on the watches and that information is what I present and what I rely on to tell others about the watch. If that inf information ormation is incorrect, then I pass along incorrect information. That is why I have, in the middle of a show, stated that something being presented was wrong. I have also, in the middle of a show, stated that I was unsure that the information being presente presented d was correct. I did so because I did not want to either present something that was incorrect or that I thought may have been. Sometimes that comes back to bite me in the butt from other "avenues". But, I will always still do that because as I collector I want to present what other collectors deem to be important and I also want to be upfront with what is being sold. Alot of the time, I can look at something and tell if it is correct (like figuring out if it is an ETA G10 or a Ronda 5040D). Sometimes I can manipulate the watch to verify something (like the independent hour hand on an ETA 251.272). However, somethings I cannot determine unless I can open up the watch case. I simply cannot do that. I do between 60 and 100+ hours per month of on on-air work. It would uld be physically impossible for me to open every watch I present on on-air. Therefore, I have to rely on information that I am given. Have I now been wrong in the past? Yes, I sure have. And I now present those pieces correctly. But, some people want to act as though I know everything about every watch. I don't. And I cannot. __________________ Michael
