1 out of 5 Diamonds are really Crystals , Date: July 28, 2010 By Watch4me "I bought this watch for my wife and one of the so-called diamonds fell out 1 day after it arrived. We took it to our jeweler and he advised me that this watch contained no diamonds, but that these were only crystals that were cheaper then CZ's. Shame on Invicta and ShopNBC once again. False advertsing is a crime. If you have one of these I would send it back for a full refund before your 30 day window closes." How often do you shop with us? I love the fact that Invicta has finally created a watch for the PETITE wrist! It is very lightweight and I wear it when I am working as I type at least 8 hours a day. The diamonds are nice! My only complaint, and the reason I did not give it 5 stars is the clasp. I would have preferred a deployant clasp, and I'm a bit concerned how this "foldover jeweler's clasp" will hold up over time. I'm holding we'll see this watch with bolder face colors, like emerald, sapphire, and ruby, or even black down the pike, maybe even offer multiple straps :). Thanks Invicta! The dial is not easy to read, you have to turn your arm to let the watch face diret light. The link is cheaply made, it's not easy to grab the two ends, the watch will fall." I am so impressed I decided to write my review today. I bought the two-tone and it is so much prettier in person than on tv. I am going to be having surgery for a blinding cataract and I can read this watch easily. I also have a large wrist and it fits with room to spare, looks like a bracelet. The thing that amazes me is how well balanced it is. The bracelet drapes quite a bit and the watch stays centered on my wrist. It's just a 100% winner.....I really love it. Light and comfortable too. The case size of this watch is perfect, however, it will only size down to a six inch wrist. I took this watch to my jeweler to size to my wrist and 7 links neeed to be removed. Unfortunately, this watch was designed to only remove 6 links. I was very surprised because I own other Invicta watches and have never had a problem sizing down to my wrist. I don't understand why they made a watch that can be worn for we small-wristed people, yet did not design the band to be sized down proportionately. I called Invicta customer service, and they said they could size it down, as long as I am willing to pay the $28 required to ship it to them. I am very disappointed." How often do you shop with us? She owns one watch, and she's fine with that. When I saw this Invicta, I figured that for this low price, even if she wasn't excited with it, not much lost. All I can say is that, not only was I impressed with it--my wife absolutely loved it. This all goldtone version is spot on in color tone.
When matched up with real yellow gold, there is little if any dicernable difference. Beautiful! The diamonds look high end and add just the right amount of sparkle accents. The bracelet is well made and silky smooth. This watch combines all these features to give the look of a high end timepeice costing far more than its actual price. While it obviously is inexpensive, the look and feel is not. This watch is absolutely for more formal occassions. Both my wife and I highly recommend this Invicta. Both are beautiful. I think the monochrome color theme gives this watch a much more expensive look. When I showed the watch to my son he thought I paid much more than what I actually paid for it. I am very impressed with the diamond presence on this watch. They really do stand out and give the watch just the right amount of sparkle. I usually buy watches with a bigger face but needed something that I could wear for formal occassions. This watch is perfect for when I need something a little dressier to wear."
