It shipped on monday, received on wed, the chrono second hand fell off on Thurs. I tried to call Invicta to see how long it would take to fix since at that time it still showed out of stock. 30 minutes on hold, I gave up. I called shopnbc to confirm the return process, and they told me they had some back in stock. Service rep was great. Bottom line, I had another sent. On Monday, I sent the bad one back. Wed I received the new one and an e-mail they received the bad one back. Great job shopnbc!!! Now for the watch - I've read the reviews since I had my bad one go back, and I'm worried. The watch is in the box with the wrapping still on it. I'll wind it andconfirm the second hand stays on, the hour hands line up, and the accuraccy is there. What a relief shopnbc works with you if it doesn't. But, what happens after the 30 days with Invicta....I'm worried. Not what you should feel on a thousand dollar watch." This watch has a beautiful case, bracelet, and dial, topped off by a very special movement. I realize that some buyers seem to have been the unfortunate recipients of faulty movements or
misaligned hands, but my feeling is that even if you receive a "problem" watch, it would be worth returning and reordering to get one more chance. The watch is just that good. The black version,also defective,had the exact opposite problem.The hour and minute hands were in synch.(calibrated) while the chrono feature experienced a problem.After 10 or so trial runs, the sweep second hand kept resetting further and further to the left of the 12:00 position.Two beautiful watches with a magnificent movement and both should never haveleft Invicta's warehouse.ShopNBC should suspend all future sales of this watch until these major quality control issues are resolved.I have no desire to deal with Invicta's customer service as they are notoriously bad.Do not purchase any of these watches until these issues have ben resolved.What a shame!!! This is a large 48mm case that houses the Swiss ETA 2892 automatic movement with a Dubois-Depraz 2021 chronograph for a total of 57 jewels. I bought the silver and with the blue hands, it looks great. I am amazed how smooth the winding mechanism is. It was so quite, I thought that it was not working. The watch is nice and heavy, but feels great on my 7.5 inch wrist. . It is pricey for an Invicata, but this is a very unique movement, so it was well worth the money. I know that if you bought this watch in a jewelry store with another name, it would cost thousands of dollars. No doubt, this was a great bargain for a very rare movement. Absolutely no regrets! The chronograph second hand does not reset to the 0 position. Every time the chronograph was reset, the second hand snaps back to a different position from before. This renders the chronograph useless. For this kind of money, and a watch that is said to be Swiss made, I expect better.
