Is this a first? Hi ladies and gents - just wondering if anyone else has had the chain on RD break? I think I can get it repaired pretty easily locally - just wondering if I am the first. I was watching TV last night and felt something on my wrist I looked down and there it was - still attached to the crown protector but not under the pusher where it anchors to the watch. __________________ The beauty of the second amendment is that it will not be needed until they try to take it.

You can do it yourself with some needle-nose pliers, i use to shorten the chain on all my RD's. __________________ WHO DAT

I will give it a try but it looks like the connector, if that is the right word, is missing. There is one on the crown protector but not one on the watch. __________________ The beauty of the second amendment is that it will not be needed until they try to take it.

I'm glad this hasn't happened to mine, I would probably go crazy. I hope you can get it fixed.

I've never had a problem with any of mine.I've been kinda rough when getting the packaging off the chains, and they have all held up just fine.It should be a fairly easy repair for a watch maker if all else fails.Good luck.

A little dab of J.B.Weld will fix that in just a few minutes. It really works like a charm..... __________________

Did my own on one of mine. Made it out of stainless wire from an old spinner for fishing. Will try to get a pic for you. __________________
