It's coming. Prepare yourself. (updated!) Yes I know this is the ultimate tease, but I just want you all to be prepared. We are securing a new, exclusive brand for ShopNBC. The ink's not dry, so I cannot divulge much, but I can assure you of one thing... it WILL BE the most mind-blowing even in the history of new brand debuts on ShopNBC. Designs that must be seen to be believed. Hand built. ALL are Limited Production, or Limited Editions. ALL are exclusive, never seen before designs that are unlike anything else in the world. ALL are geared specifically for the collector's audience. They will fit into a comfortable price range familiar to most of us... probably in the $350-$500 range with some special models going between $1000 and maybe $3000 on the exotic type of stuff. This brand will absolutely DOMINATE its class. 01-26-2009, 08:43 AM Join Date: Feb 2008 Posts: 13,487 Real Name: "Diamond Jim" Skelton

lol, you guys need to re-read my post. Many of your questions were already answered there. It is an exclusive (exclusive), all-new brand (new brand). I see your point Z, but the styles won't be in competition with Invicta, totally different kinds of watches. I don't think anyone would dare think they could come onto the market and dominate Invicta. I am giving such loooong notice for this because I fully expect the debut show to be the biggest new brand debut shows ever, and I don't want my friends to miss out. I have had some great opportunities launching new brands, but I have never been this excited over one. It is just that great. 01-26-2009, 12:37 PM

Thank you James This was Jim's post from 2 weeks ago:

Just to clarify, it's not an Invicta brand, but the designer did certainly choose Invicta for their financial backing for the brand, and they have partnered up, but Invicta will not be running the designs or anything like that. Just this morning I was able to pour over the newest refined design renderings and I am beyond impressed. They are stunning watches that are very different from what we normally see out there. Cool stuff. They are taking a lot of time refining their designs and production, and as I understand it we should be seeing the initial production samples in the coming weeks. They are a small, boutique brand that will be creating their watches by hand in Switzerland, so they will never be at the production level of say an Invicta or Croton that can put out a lot of quantity over short periods of time. Every detail is being carefully thought out, and production takes a very long time (several months for each model), and all will likely be Limited Editions. As far as their debut on the shows, it's not clear what the timeline is now because of how close we are to the Holidays (our current brands are already planned on the calendar), so it might be early in the New Year before they can get their shows on the air. Trust me, as things are able to be leaked (designs, images, news) everyone will know about it, I will make certain the announcements are easy to find Thanks for asking!

PROTOTYPE Sneak Peek: Imperious Gearhead

Bear in mind that this is a first-pass hand-built prototype. Many things are already scheduled to change on this model, but this is the general idea of what the "Gearhead" is going to look like. This also means that the finish is rougher than production, and it will have imperfections that will not obviously be present on production models.

I have 3 other model's prototypes (Man of War, Jailbait and Shattered), but so much is changing on those, I won't post them until we begin to see prototypes with the changes complete. This is the first look anyone in the world has had into this brand, and because you guys have been so patient on the unveiling of Imperious, I wanted to make sure you were the first to see the beginning stages. If you don't know what brand this is, then you probably don't remember these threads: http://watchgeeks.net/showthread.php...ight=imperious http://watchgeeks.net/showthread.php...ight=imperious At this point the only release date I can give for the brand is "early 2010" at this point. Long production schedules and very intricate designs have caused the delay in the brand launch, but rest assured... it absolutely will be worth the wait. I won't bother to give specs on this watch since some things, including the size, will change. All Imperious will be: Swiss Made & completely hand built Will use Superluminova Will use Sapphire crystals with multiple layers of A/R coatings

"Imperious" Urgent; imperative: imperious need Regal; imperial. Commanding; ascendant; imperial; lordly; majestic. "A vast and imperious mind." --Tilloison. Therefore, great lords, be, as your titles witness, Imperious. --Shak.

Origin of word: 1541, from L. imperiosus "commanding, mighty, powerful," from imperium "empire, command" (see empire). Online Etymology Dictionary, Š 2001 Douglas Harper 01-25-2009, 11:29 PM

There will be MASSIVE Sneak Peeks as soon as the watches come through to me. To me this isn't just a show, it will be a true event... and when something this big comes along, I want to make sure you all get plenty of advanced notice. Again, this is a few MONTHS away, but I had to share my excitement. IMO, things will never be the same again..... 01-27-2009, 07:49 AM Join Date: Feb 2008 Posts: 13,487 Real Name: "Diamond Jim" Skelton

timeman: No, Lior bought Ventura last year, a very well established brand, and we will be seeing them soon... but that's not the brand. I know everyone wants to guess, but believe me when I tell you... it is an ALL NEW BRAND who's name has not been uttered anywhere in the industry before. It most certainly is NOT a brand from any other network. More info as it becomes available........ 01-27-2009, 01:01 PM

It has been discovered that the factories in Uranus are offering similar quality for a much lower cost. Soon the industry will begin to recognize the moniker that this brand will create: "Made in Uranus" I kill myself. You will find out soon enough. Trust me... there are big surprises in store for us all. In this cookie-cutter industry, the unique designs and true hand built quality will allow them to stand alone in their price range... and will still stand alone when you take price out of the equation. I'm unsure which movements you'll see initially. It'll be up to the owners of the brand, and our watch team as to what will be presented in the first shows. 01-31-2009, 10:44 PM Join Date: Feb 2008 Posts: 13,487 Real Name: "Diamond Jim" Skelton

That is quite a statement considering that price range hits A LOT of Invicta's market...

I think we have heard this before in the past. Lets wait and see. 05-07-2009, 05:14 AM Join Date: Feb 2008 Posts: 13,487 Real Name: "Diamond Jim" Skelton
