Defective Speedway put back up for sale at ShopNBC! ShopNBC's flawless return inspectors... I ordered the silvertone speedway. Got mine 2 days after I ordered it. It was 502 out of 800. It arrived defective. The top pusher was fine but the bottom pusher would not turn freely to open or close to depress the pusher. So I sent it back for a refund. I filled out the return paper and checked defective. I even wrote two sentences on the same return paper at the bottom where I checked the word "defective." Told them the "bottom pusher does not turn freely to depress the pusher as the top one does. Please refund my shipping of $14.99 due to it being defective as well." I wrote it big and clear as day so it would get fixed. I got an email today stating your return has been processed and here is the amount of your refund getting put back on your charge card. They did not refund my shipping of $14.99. So I called shops cs to get a credit of $14.99 put on my account. The lady put me on hold and checked on my return and said it was not defective. I told her what I wrote stated above on the return form and she said QUOTE " All returns go through 8 different people and all 8 of them said the watch is just fine. I said...so its back up for sale again? And she said yes it is!" I did not want to get in an argument with her over it so I said ok nothing more I can do about it and we said good bye. So now someone is going to get another defective silvertone speedway #502 and the bottom pusher is totally screwed up. UNBELIEVABLE! __________________
