SAN III Kits with day hand issue
I was just wondering if any fellow geeks out there sent there SAN III kits to Invicta to repair the Day hand falling out. I sent mine and check the web site what used to be once a week to now everyday and there has been no change. Invicta has had my watch for just over six weeks and I'm getting nervous that my watch has been lost in the shuffle. Is this normal? Should I be worried?

Normal for Invicta. My experiences are that return times are counted in months, not weeks. I do hope that you are the exception to the rule, and get yours back soon. Ken.. CHRONOKEN View Public Profile Send a private message to CHRONOKEN Find all posts by CHRONOKEN Add CHRONOKEN to Your Contacts

After reading alot of other WG's posts, the key word should be PATIENCE. I think I read somewhere that one person had sent in 3 watches back in November, December timeframe last year and has only received 1 back! I currently have 1 in for repair (has only been about 3 weeks) and I am not going to even worry about it until maybe Thanksgiving! LOL __________________

This is normal for Invicta. I just got a few screws in about 7 weeks. That is fairly quick for them. Unfortunately normal for Invicta. Sent my Akula in for a minor repair and it took four months to get it back. Sheri Lensherben View Public Profile Send a private message to Lensherben Find all posts by Lensherben Add Lensherben to Your Contacts #12 06-21-2010, 08:04 AM

Normal. In fact the second hand may have grown back faster on it's own had you just kept the watch in hand rather then sending it in for repair. Just kidding __________________

Well it appears this mess is over with, although it's not the desired result I'm gonna get the watch and move on. See below my email to Rebecca. Rebecca, Well I just called the service department and spoke to a rep named Benny whom I asked for an update on my case. Benny informed me that my watch did not come back from the manufacturer yet and offered me a replacement watch (same exact model/color) for replacement, to which I agreed. I wonder why this was not an option for me in the first place, and if you get back to me on that I would appreciate it. But if all goes well the saga is over and I do appreciate your efforts in helping me. I sent mine in for the same repair but I sent mine in to the ShopNBC Protection Plan and my watch came back in three weeks completely repaired. I'm getting the protection plan on all my watches. So I get home and check the web on Invicta's service page and notice that there's a complete date of 7/14/2010. My watch will probably be shipped any day now? I'm getting tired of looking at my empty yellow lunch box with three straps. Cross your fingers fellow geeks. I'm glad because I was getting that postal feeling. milkdud View Public Profile Send a private message to milkdud Send email to milkdud Find all posts by milkdud Add milkdud to Your Contacts #20 07-15-2010, 08:26 AM Join Date: Apr 2008 Location: Va,beach, Virginia Posts: 1,326 Real Name: Rich "Hot Shot "

The same exact thing happened to mine. Sent it in. Took forever. CS gave me a few different stories. But in the end I got it back. Took about 15 weeks. But it's on there still and attached. So they fixed it right. So just be patient. It may take awhile but you will get it back. So be tough and hang in there. __________________

I was under the impression that they were replacing them with the good ones that went back from shop. I know I needed some straps and Rebecca sent them to me in 2 days. I'm sure they were out of the kits. My yellow one is still working fine. nock on wood reserveman View Public Profile Send a private message to reserveman Send email to reserveman Find all posts by reserveman Add reserveman to Your Contacts

I wouldn't worry yet. I sent mine off too and was told an eight week turn around by Rebecca if it had to be repaired. But if they had one in stock they'd just replace it. I'm not holding my breath but remaining hopeful at the same time. Invicta does seem to be making some effort to improve CS. __________________ Jeff jeffbethd View Public Profile Send a private message to jeffbethd Send email to jeffbethd Find all posts by jeffbethd Add jeffbethd to Your Contacts #24 Today, 06:40 PM

Sent mine out in May, posted on Invicta Service card they sent it out on 5/25/10. Returned from vacation yesterday and found FedEx slip on front door about missed delivery. Checked website to find they had shipped it back to me. FedEx arrived today with fixed watch. Hopefully all goes well, wore it all day and working fine. Hopefully you get yours back soon. I was figuring on 2 to 3 months anyway. PS: Invicta gives me a tracking number, click it and goes to UPS as invalid shipping number. If I didn't know FedEx came, I would have never been able to track it. Using the number on FedEx website, I saw it was out for delivery. __________________ I need more cowbell!!!!!! ecd13 View Public Profile Send a private message to ecd13 Find all posts by ecd13 Add ecd13 to Your Contacts

I recieved mine back after 11 weeks. Sent two different san3 kit watches in and when they came home they are perfect. If I were you I wouldn't check every day. Just don't worry too much. It will get home eventually.
