sandstone afterthought Found the sandstone thread interesting. Bought the sandstone classique when it first came out. $99.00. Liked it and have no regrets. Would have prefered to be told it was composite not real stone. At that price I don't think it would have been a factor in my decision to buy. That might be a different situation on the more expensive models. All of this also led me to wonder if the Swiss Legend automatic I bought with the winder and two straps is also composite or the real thing. When comparing the two brands the Swiss Legend sparkle is subtle and the Invicta is full of sparkle. 3 Lastest Threads by larrycumba Thread

Please lets not start another sandstone thread. This is getting absolutely ridiculous. Just my opinion of course. After twenty two pages of responses, I can see where some might be ready to move on. I do have a question though. Do you think sandstone will eclipse the popularity of mother of pearl? As for me, no. larrycumba View Public Profile Send a private message to larrycumba Find all posts by larrycumba Add larrycumba to Your Contacts #7 09-03-2010, 02:52 PM

Both are nice in there own way, I think it's hard to compare them. But the "glitter" effect seems to be trendy now? __________________

The glitter effect somehow reminds me of sparkley sandpaper therefore I never really have fallen nor do I ever wish to add a sandstone watch to my collection. For those who like it, good for them. It's just not my cup of tea. leelovesbug View Public Profile Send a private message to leelovesbug Find all posts by leelovesbug Add leelovesbug to Your Contacts #9 09-03-2010, 03:31 PM fnps90 Senior Member Super Geek

My only question is out of 22 pages and over 500 post how many actually have the watch and are concerned and how many are just trying to find a way to say Invicta is lying. __________________

But people who don't want the truth, or faced with the truth and don't like it are just as guilty of a form of bashing.
