SAS Model 4837 7750 Repair

I am looking for a watch repair in Wisconsin. While winding my watch as I have done for a year last night the crown stem broke. Hard for me to figure out how this could have happened. I have not worn it at all for months just wound it nightly and it is always in a watch display and protected. Any suggestions are appreciated. God bless & thanks to all who reply, Talon

Talon I have the RD 7750 and had no problems for months and then boom the stem just fell off also. I took it to a jeweler who said that he could not get the stem from Invicta so he told me to send it back for them to fix. I'm not happy about it but what other option do I have. The Jeweler said that Invicta makes it impossible to get parts to repair watches so they have you send it back. It's only a watch so I just want to get it fixed. Good luck to you... __________________ Auto Pilot Orange/Black, SAN Auto 7750, SANII Auto LE SW200, SAN III (4), SAN III 7751 LE, SAS, Reserve Pro Diver COSC SW200, Reserve Pro Diver COSC Tsavorite Meteorite...

That sure is not encouraging. Sending any watch back to Invicta would be a last resort for me. I do not mean that as a slam, I just would attempt to have it repaired locally for the turn around time. __________________ Love the Lord your God with all of your heart, soul, mind and strength. I just had my SAS 7750 returned from Invicta CS (movement failure, pretty serious) started out date would not advance, would do so manually, then could not even do that and eventually the crown would no longer screw down... CS got it 4/9/10 and was FED EX'd back to my end of June. Works perfectly! I would think your only option is Invicta CS LTCARMY

What happens if trade for an Invicta and they don't transfer warranties from one to a new purchaser is what I thought I heard. I don't know for sure on that would like a clarification on that would be nice. chitown View Public Profile Send a private message to chitown Send email to chitown Find all posts by chitown Add chitown to Your Contacts #6 Today, 03:56 PM Join Date: Sep 2009 Location: Central Wisconsin Posts: 77

After reading all this good news I think I'll put it in the bottom drawer and sell the rest of them. Thanks to all who responded and I pray you all have better experiences than I have. Talon I think it's safe to assume the watch is still under warranty since it's a reserve so what's the big deal about sending it in for repair? You said yourself you haven't "worn it in months" so I don't get why you're so opposed to sending it away for a while. I'm not trying to be a jerk but just trying to understand why your so upset. Am I wrong here? __________________

Not a hard repair, if there is enough stem left in the crown. If you can show me some pictures, I might be able to help. __________________

Hey Talon: Don't give up buddy all is not lost. That watch has a warranty and I would sure start a ticket on Invicta's website. If it were my watch and I promise you I'm not wealthy at all. I would spend the 25.00 for return postage, wrap it up, don't send the watch box and ship it to Florida. They will repair it and get it back to you in a couple months. I've sent in five watches, from an Elite, to SAN's, to Venom's in a period of 6 years and they always took care of me. Barry
