cornholio Junior Member New Geek ShopNBC - lousy packaging

I finally received my order for 2 Android watches today. The box was crushed pretty badly so I pulled out my camera and took a few pictures of the box before I opened it. I always do this, in case they try to blame me for the damage. When I opened the box and inside were 2 smaller boxes and no packaging material at all. There had to be 3 inches of space inside for the boxes to flop around inside the much larger box. Is this normal for ShopNBC? I will never buy any watches again from them again if this is the case. I think the watches are OK but both were off their pillow and just lying in the Android box. Doesn't anybody give a crap anymore?

Yup.. this is the norm. The watch box itself just sits inside a larger(but not by much) shipping box and with some tissue paper seperating the two. Shipping popcorn must be expensive.. haha __________________

I think the shop is growing too fast just like Invicta. I've found that they are less knowledgeable in general when calling because they are hiring a lot of new people. They mean well, but, they should put into place a better training program for new employees in the order dept. ... I've had to hang up lately and redial to get one of the experienced

order dept people 'who really know their biz'... you can tell when you begin to talk to them ... perhaps this is filtering into the shipping areas at SNBC as well ... so... I feel for you but don't leave the Shop ... they are still the best around for watch buyers .. I have ordered watches and never had this problem. Although I did order a set of bands from Sturhling and they were placed in a UPS envelope and delivered to me by FEDEX. Found it funny. __________________

That is what happened to mine. It bounced around so bad that it dented the Andriod box in two places on the inside. I wound the watch and it worked for about 10 seconds and then stopped. I wound it again and it would run for about 10 seconds and stop. Wing may think

about putting somthing inside his box that goes around the watch to protect it!!!!!! hweight View Public Profile Send a private message to hweight Find all posts by hweight Add hweight to Your Contacts #8 Today, 06:22 PM

I haven't had that poor of packaging from the Shop. What I find appalling is the exorbitant S&H charge and then you see it was shipped via USPS or in one big box that you know didn't cost the same amount. Talk about gauging the customer IMO!

One of the watches was an automatic. This is why I am concerned. It seems to be fine so far. If it runs good for a few days should I assume everything is OK?
