I'm a little curious here. Defending us from what? Not sure we need defending. Folks will always have opinions about watch brands, so what. I say let people talk because it fill gaps in their lives!!! I'm sure Dave you have more pressing issues to deal with, right? Dave posts on several watch forums not just WG, and if you think Invicta takes some hits here, you wouldn't believe what is said elsewhere. __________________

I think everyone is a bit confused and may need clarification. Are you talking about defending Invicta or defending those who have complained about Invicta? amaghsadi View Public Profile Send a private message to amaghsadi Find all posts by amaghsadi Add amaghsadi to Your Contacts #13 Today, 02:12 PM

My suggestion... don't play in the mud, or else you'll end up as dirty as the pigs that are already wallowing in it. Why visit places that exist only to spew negativity? Why bother trying to argue with them either? 2 WG members learned this recently. One was Abduksion, you may remember his exit here. They went over "there" and were welcomed in because everyone there thought the WG members were discouraged and as angst-filled as they were. When they turned out not to be, the members over there turned on them and showed them how vile they can be. Heck, even recently they turned on what seemed to have been a former ally (an owner of another forum) and began picking him apart. Saying he has no spine, and has an empty sack... because he isn't carrying on an obsessive affair with the current hot topics. You'd think the common ground of hating a certain watch brand, or a certain network would have been enough to keep them happy and playing nice together. Nope. If you're not as sick & vile as they are... you end up being their next target. __________________ Quote: Living well is the best revenge. -George Herbert

Dave, your experience may have come from a different forum than the one I am referencing, but in some cases many of the forums play the same games. That's one reason why WG was born. And if we weren't better... we'd have as low of a membership number as they have. We have more activity, participation, members, active thread topics and generosity on WG than almost every other watch forum that has ever existed. There's a reason for that.... __________________ Quote:

To be clear... WG has always tried to take the higher road. We do NOT condone any member going to any other forum to start flamewars. There is no need to go anywhere and defend us, me, Mike, Shop, Invicta... any of it. Please don't get caught up in all of the drama. With or without your participation.. these guys NEVER stop. It is a sick obsession. __________________ Quote: Living well is the best revenge. -George Herbert Quote: Originally Posted by charleswatts Your candor in the explanation reveals the nature of the relationship you have formed with your viewers. jskelton View Public Profile Send a private message to jskelton Visit jskelton's homepage! Hey Guys, I have had my issues with different people and products that doesn't mean that you have to get down and dirty. Iersonally I was introduced to several other watch forums, but watches are my passion and leisure time not something I'm going to get upset about. I'm staying here, because I don't need negativity everyday. android9272 View Public Profile Send a private message to android9272 Send email to android9272 Find all posts by android9272 Add android9272 to Your Contacts #22 Today, 02:24 PM

Umm.. we are still just talking about watches right? haha.. You'd think we were talking about politics and religion.. haha.. Like Jim said.. dont go to their lvl. People get off from compaining and pissing off the people who like a certain brand. I can understand the ocasional complaint and discussion, but when people wrap their lives around what like Jim is saying, its just sad. Its your money, buy or dont buy what you want. __________________

Why bother, too much time wasted, let people hate and dislike any brand they want, you choose with your wallet what brands you buy. I think it is fair if a person has a problem with a watch to post it, but not harp on it. iheartomega View Public Profile Send a private message to iheartomega Find all posts by iheartomega Add iheartomega to Your Contacts #24 Today, 02:25 PM

Keep up the good fight if you want to Dave. But I've come to the conclusion.... I don't really care what anyone else thinks about any of my watches. If someone else likes 'em... cool. If someone don't like 'em.... equally cool. I buy what I like. I wear what I like. There will always be those who choose to waste their time spewing hate & taking cheap shots for whatever reason.
All I know is everyday I have a SANIV.... SANIII.... Venom.... CF.... or SAS on the wrist & couldn't be happier. Some Jack Wagon isn't gonna change my mind. So don't stress it, enjoy your watches. __________________

Closing this. It only serves as entertainment for the trolls elsewhere. Dave, if you need anything, LMK __________________
