I was tempted to pull the trigger Bill but a little birdie is telling me to wait to see it on WOW. However, I do the like the SW200 version better as I like simpler dials. __________________ There is no reality outside the Matrix. I shy away from titanium since it scratches easily and is hard to refinish . I can repolish/rebrush stainless steel all day long. I also wanted something different from the tubes, like double tubes at the 12:00, perhaps with a different color. __________________ John

I really would love to get one of these watches, but it was a little too expensive for me right now. Also, the titanium kinda turned me away as well. I love the look, but I have seen it scratch way too easily. ranger1482 View Public Profile Send a private message to ranger1482 Find all posts by ranger1482 Add ranger1482 to Your Contacts #20 Yesterday, 07:53 PM Join Date: Jan 2010 Location: ohio Posts: 3,776 Real Name: Nhard

Gas tubes

Can anyone tell me what the difference is between the green and blue tubes. Is one more cost than the other or is it just a matter of choice? Lastkey31 lastkey31 View Public Profile Send a private message to lastkey31 Find all posts by lastkey31

Junior Member New Geek I bought the gaz tube . . .

I bought the Luminary advertised as an automatic (SW 200). This morning, the Shop said 'just kidding', switched the order to the quartz and sent it. I will return it and speak to a customer rep about the transaction when they call me back. Very disappointing. benrobinson1 View Public Profile Send a private message to benrobinson1 Find all posts by benrobinson1 Add benrobinson1 to Your Contacts #30 Today, 06:40 AM Join Date: Sep 2009 Location: Cape Coral, FL Posts: 324 Real Name: John

The lume on these tubes are not that impressive especially compared to the Ball Night Train. That watch is so bright that I do not wear it to bed anymore because it was a distraction. From what the Ball sales rep told me other companies can only use the weaker tubes T< 25 mCi whereas the Night Train is between 25 and 100 mCi but the average is 65 mCi. Thats happened to me...one time in less than 4 hours, most of the

time the cancellation button is up for a day or more Sometimes they start the processing very quickly and no option to Cancel, So ya call and are told its too late, and then it sits there for another 2 or 3 days before they actually ship it out, But you can send it back... Yeah , with the customer paying the shipping charge , not to mention the shipping you have already paid to get it to ya... I feel your pain... __________________

Bill, I was like the rest of the WG's, I'll wait to check out the auto version, if any. The dial was too busy and they used the exposed date window again, I like to look a dial and know the exact date. And this will be available at a discount very shortly.

The only thing that caught my attention was the titanium. __________________

They've been touting the gas tubes for some time now. When it finally arrives they don't even show any shots of the tubes in action! I'm guessing the lume is lackluster & barely showing up. It's like pushing an auto Mvt without showing the sweep second hand in action! What were they thinking, we were all waiting & not even a valid explanation.

How can they not show the lume shot on a watch that thats the selling point on it. I would think that made people a little sceptical that it might not be as hyped up about. Did Jim ever do any sneek peeks on the lume. reserveman View Public Profile Send a private message to reserveman Send email to reserveman Find all posts by reserveman Add reserveman to Your Contacts #52 Today, 01:42 PM Join Date: Mar 2008 Location: 'Da Region-NW Indiana Posts: 1,488
