Received my Vostok Expedition. Very happy with it. Everything about it screams "different" from other Shop brands. Vive la difference. Figuring how to do the quickset date change was a great time waster. Determined not to refer to the manual. Thought I could figure it out. Maybe in a thousand years on a desert island. Maybe not. Finally read the manual and it was REALLY different. I am a boomer who was a commie hater. Caused me to sleep poorly through the 1960s worrying about missiles in Cuba. Thought I'd never buy one of these. Still won't buy Invicta Ruskie sub stuff. But I will make my Vostok a scalp. Like the Indians, I'll draw strength from my enemy that I vanquished so they could sell watches on imperialist TV network. We won. They won.
