You know what, everyone's open to do comparisons to whatever they want but obviously the people making the comparisons have no knowledge whatsoever about making watches. They are trying to learn a little about the watch industry but they obviously have a long way to go!"

I like this model. I wouldn't pay $199 for a Miyota movement but I do like the goofy looking diver on the MOP dial. I know... it's not a real diver watch but then I'm not really going diving unless you consider hopping in the pool with my grandson a deep dive.:D If it comes down to around $125 I might buy it.

Thanks at least in part to the knowledge imparted by everyone here, I feel fortunate to know what to look for, so for the most part I've been pretty happy with my Invicta (and other purchases) from the big S. When I've had a problem, they've been quick to resolve it, and as a bonus, I get to watch the floor show! The way Shawn was squealing over some of those watches over the weekend, I would have thought he had an alarm watch down the front of his pants, set to go off every five minutes...

There have been unsubstantiated claims (most would call them lies) about factories in Switzerland )or was it the Mekong Delta?), but there has never, ever (I repeat....never, ever) been any proof provided, regardless of countless requests.
