motorboat March 14th, 2006, 22:33 They killed Kenny and put him in a watch. Eyal fired back last night. During the presentation of a watch he said to Wilsie something like this: "Shawn, you showed me that email before we went on air about some comparisons that have been done to this watch. You know what, everyone's open to do comparisons to whatever they want but obviously the people making the comparisons have no knowledge whatsoever about making watches. They are trying to learn a little about the watch industry but they obviously have a long way to go!" ZING! I wonder if Wilsie took some posts from a forum and shared them with Mr. Barnum-Lalo IV. If so he's an effing punk and a toadie. accutron March 14th, 2006, 22:38 Alright, I wasn't going to say anything :-X but I guess I'll take the abuse:roll: . I like this model. I wouldn't pay $199 for a Miyota movement but I do like the goofy looking diver on the MOP dial. I know... it's not a real diver watch but then I'm not really going diving unless you consider hopping in the pool with my grandson a deep dive.:D If it comes down to around $125 I might buy it. Eddy, So basically everyone that e-mails Shawn and Jim are idiots:-S Lets see Shawn was selling down comforters and lamps before TT left, Jim was moderating a watch forum and working in a Cigar store. Eyal @ 20 something started a watch company with his vast forfathers knowledge. Seems like a very well qualified group to be casting aspersions on the watch community they sell to:-S They wouldn't know the truth if it was in a watch case:-| motorboat March 15th, 2006, 00:34 I would really like to know if the email as Eyal called it that Wilsie showed Eyal was a real email or perhaps some forum posts from someplace like IT. Thanks at least in part to the knowledge imparted by everyone here, I feel fortunate to know what to look for, so for the most part I've been pretty happy with my Invicta (and other purchases) from the big S. When I've had a problem, they've been quick to resolve it, and as a bonus, I get to watch the floor show! The way Shawn was squealing over some of those watches over the weekend, I would have thought he had an alarm watch down the front of his pants, set to go off every five minutes... Okay, so it really boils down to this, why get upset as we all know that: 1) 2) 3) 4)
SlopNBC is a joke! Jim Skelton is a joke (on cigar forums, too!) EL is a joke...............kinda like poorly dressed white trash! Invicta has become a joke!
What? Me Worry? landshark48 March 15th, 2006, 05:53 Look, you guys may not like JS and EL,but I can't get enough of the dynamic between EL and the Cryptkeeper's wife on Sunday morning. He just sends her over the edge and she squeals with glee. (yuck!) And 1 more observation... Who caught the horrendous green and urine softball shirt he was wearing. Eyal's awesomeness cannot be overstated. Can't remember who, but, someone once compared watches by stating...... This is the same kind of stainless steel, blah blah blah. So I guess one can reason that the same rules apply here. Is it the same movement or in typical Eyal fashion he didn't comment on the type of movement? I have to say it is pretty classless of both the host and owner. Funny thing is that unless it is hurting you somehow, you wouldn't find a need to address it. csp March 15th, 2006, 06:58 I laugh when Eyal makes claims on national television that Invicta produces the finest watches in the industry. How can you make a claim like that when you sell $79 OTV garbage. Any CEO who hawks watches at 1am and lies right in front of you deserves no respect. Maybe Slop should request the CEO's of Baume & Mercier and Concord to come in at 1am to hawk watches.:-D:-D Invicta is pathetic and slop is no better for allowing that nonsense to be aired. deidler March 15th, 2006, 07:00 Maybe Slop should request the CEO's of Baume & Mercier and Concord to come in at 1am to hawk watches.:-D:-D

...............I have yet to see anybody prove that Invicta produces watches at all. There have been unsubstantiated claims (most would call them lies) about factories in Switzerland )or was it the Mekong Delta?), but there has never, ever (I repeat....never, ever) been any proof provided, regardless of countless requests.
