I bought the silver tone.I like the white dial on the SAN III's myself. The fresh water mop is a nice change with a little less orient coming out.not for everyone but it's fine for me. __________________

I bought it But I swear this looks like that Creamy White MOP that came on a Invicta Strap Set PD TTV watch that aired a few months ago for $59. Everyone then made mention on how different it was compared to the normal Invicta MOP. Less orient ( almost none) and looked like what people said was "wavy cheap plastic" It would be funny to find out that that was the same MOP without the hooplah and build up. The more I think about it...It really looks just like it. Ut Oh.. Could this be the best example of how the way something gets marketed makes all the difference. On one hand its in a low end $59 watch and people called it cheap looking. If this was the same I wonder if those same folks would love the look now that its been hyped and put on a SAN. I of course don't know...But Like i said. Man it looks really close. __________________

Doesn't look too good, but Tim wasn't really trying to make it pop like Jim does. Plus, I don't think those studio lights tell the whole story about some aspects of the timepieces. I have a feeling it will be great once we get them in our hands. Not sure it has as much Orient as the salt water MOP, but I did see some greens and purples coming out of the white dial. __________________

When Tim put it on his wrist.... the light did catch some greens, pinks and purples. I kind of like the suttle Orient.... gives off a little color on a rich, satin looking dial.... not too flashy. __________________

I kinda like the subtle looks of that MOP... dial looks just white, but when you get closer it gives off that pearlescence for some surprise pop. I'm not a fan off those hour markers though... to formal/blingy... I sent back a platinum MOP SANIII becasue they were just too much for me... liked everything else on that watch...

I am not a big MOP guy, but recently I bought that platinum MOP SR1 and the sample I got has a tremendous color range on it--almost too much--at least for me. I really like white dials--picked up this SAN III and am hoping it is a bit more subtle.

Haven't seen too many myself without holes in the dial on the SAN 3's. __________________

Wasn't too thrill about another variation of the SAN III (If it was a SAN IV, maybe). But still ordered both just not to regret later. Still probably have 48 hours for canceling the order. Will see what other DOD / SR / WTWJ has to offer this weekend. Just playin' it safe...... __________________

After the TTVs going down so quick it makes me wonder if it will be 99.00 on SR soon. It shows 5400 of gold. That seems like alot. As far as the MOP. In Jims pics the gold dial looks good but if you watch the video it doesnt look that way.

To be honest, since this is the first time I've heard of River MOP I'll wait until I have the watch in my hands to formulate an opinion. From what I've seen in Jim's pictures and on the show I like the marble look of the material. At least we're not being charged a "premium" for the material like some other substances.

I like the silvertone with the white. I'm like the others. The price isn't bad and if I don't like it when I get it, I will send it back.
