Fall into the Arts!

Central

Florida and Tampa Bay’s must-see season is here

It’s no secret that Florida’s arts scene finds itself at a pivotal moment. Still recovering from the pandemic, organizations across the state have been working since late June to secure essential funding for their seasons to come.

That’s when Gov. Ron DeSantis unexpectedly vetoed $32 million in previously approved funding, eliminating state grants for an industry that generates nearly $6 billion for the economy each year. Critics of the decision have called the move political in nature.

Whatever the governor’s reasoning, the arts industry has long proven it’s a resilient one — especially in Central Florida and Tampa Bay. Local leaders have promised the show will go on, calling for arts fans to showcase their support however possible while enjoying the entertainment organizations and venues continue to provide.

That’s why Watermark is proud to once again present our annual Fall Arts Guide, which details events in the Space Coast, Daytona Beach, Orlando,

Lakeland, Tampa, St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Sarasota and many of the cities in between. We highlight local art exhibits, concerts, regional staples, touring shows and more.

While it’s impossible to showcase everything coming to a space near you this fall, we’ve compiled a comprehensive list in these pages utilizing press releases, social media and other resources from August through January 2025.

All information is accurate as of press time but is of course subject to change, so we’ve also included the contact information of each venue. Be sure to contact them via phone or visit their websites for the most up-to-date information — and while you’re at it, take note of the advertisers in these pages to support those who not only support the arts but support you.

Together, we can all make a difference while having a little fun. Now, on with the show!
