The starting point for this season lies in this line by Patti Smith: the earth is what we’re given, the world is what we make it. What does it mean to be here, to receive and not squander all the earth bestows? What story will we choose to live? I carried these questions with me some time during the pandemic and global crises, eventually designing our new “The World” pendant to hold Patti’s powerful message, a talisman for the movement from separation to a more unified world one that can only be forged anew through Love. This more beautiful world is a compassionate, forgiving, reverent one that is known only when we truly see each other, and let ourselves be seen. One that beckons us to be unapologetic and unafraid to use our voices and our hearts to dare enough to imagine and activate it into being. The pieces in this new collection are dedicated to the More Beautiful World we all know is possible. They are designed to reflect back to us something that we have been sensing within. They are an invitation. From initial intention, to how they are made and what they represent, in their many forms, they are not unlike us: individual creative contributions to the realization that a more beautiful world is seeking us. In each, a moment, a miracle, a movement: toward A More Beautiful World. We might call it Love.
