Gatwick Airport Pier 6 Extension (2013)

As part of the design team for the delivery of Gatwick’s Pier 6 extension, Atkins was commissioned to produce the wayfinding strategy for the airside areas of the redeveloped terminal building. This included identifying high level sign placement plans and sign types for the new signage, all in line with the airport’s existing design standards. The commission included a full desktop and on-site review of existing and future passenger circulation patterns, used to inform the product placement and information strategy.
