Cleveland Co. Animal Services introduces Daisy

Here is info on a very special dog at Cleveland County Animal Care Services, in her own words, “My name is Daisy and I'm a very friendly 5 yr. old Labrador retriever. I have been hanging out here at the shelter since February. I was brought in as a stray and they have spayed me, and I'm microchipped and UTD (that’s shelter lingo for “up to date”) on all my vaccinations! Yes, I have been here too long.”

“Now for the good stuff...I am a very active girl. I love being in the sun and I will lay on my back and scratch to my heart’s content. I do pretty good on a leash, but I do pull. I'm very excited about being outside. I will do the zoomie thing and get out some of my energy, but if you sit down, I will come right up to you and ask for attention,” she says enthusiastically.

“I will take treats very politely and sit when I do it. I would probably do best with someone that has my energy for exercise. I bet I'd do good on walks, and a fenced in yard wouldn't be a bad thing either. If you think I would be a won- derful addition to your family, come by the shelter and meet me. I would be so happy.”
