RELOCATION PROPOSAL

“The Church Mission”

From the Desk of: Dr. Willard Dallas, Sr. March 30, 1990, at 3:30 A.M., in Norfolk Virginia. The word of the lord came to me and said: 1.

Son of man, the lord is in need of unususual church, one like the world has never known. If you will set the church up in strict accordance to my word, I will bless it beyond anything the world has ever known.

2.

Be not afraid to go beyond tradition of men. Search the scripture together with the church, and use my word as your guide and I will be with the church as it was with moses and the children of israel. I can still rain down manna from heaven and i can still send a covey of quail. “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then I will forgive their sin, and will heal their land” (ii chronicles 7:14). You must humble yourselves tha I may form you into an oasis of living water in the desert of the world.

3.

The church must determine herself to do the whole will of god. And the holy spirit will live and dwell with the church with great power. The dead will be raised and he sick will be healed. There shall be no weapon formed that will prosper against my people. Behold, I come quicky and you, my children, have been chosen for a special mission. Many will seek salvation be cause of the obedience of my people.

4.

Remember, I have called you to be a peculiar church, one like unto which the world has never seen. I am alpha and omega, the beginning and the end, said the lord. The holy spirit must have reign to lead the church in the directions that he would have her to go.

5.

Think it not the strange that I will pour out my spirit upon my children, for the phophets of old have prophesied in this very thing. Search the scriptures, for I will fulfill my word in the midst of a sinful generation. So fret not theyself becayse of evildoers, for every man in his relationship toward of his own action. Allow me to repay every man in his relationship toward my people. Be not deceived, god is not mocked, for everyone will reap what they sow.

6.

You are not responsible for the action of others. I will repay the and you. Take heed unto yourself and unto the church over which I have made you to be the overseers together with the holy ghost. Fear not, for I am with you even until the end of the world, even into the new jerusalem of which my church will become a part of.

History of Faith, Hope, and Love Missionary Baptist Church Prior to moving to our present edifice located at 2727 S.E. 59th in OKC, our membership under direction of Pastor Willard Dallas worked diligently with our contactor/member, Bro. Roy Bowman to renovate the building. The floors were resurfaced, new church pews were built and the building was painted and decorated. Our first service was on Easter Sunday, April 19, 1992.

Relocation Church Building Our church has been in much prayer over the relocation of our church. We have been searching all across Oklahoma County for an available church building that fits our spiritual, physical and community needs to serve the Lord. Unfortunately, we have not been able to find an available church building that fulfills our needs. In addition, the church buildings we looked at all needed to be updated to meet city, state, and federal requirements. Updating those facilities would be a cost burden to our church. Furthermore, the church sale market in Oklahoma City Metro area is very limited. There are not a lot of churches for sale unlike the home market. Thus, the Lord has giving us a vision to build a new church. The vision that the Lord has giving us is to build a new church that is the same square footage as our current location. The current footage of our church building is 7,344. Based off the information provided to us by Emmitt Wisby & Son Construction Company, LLC., it will cost us $160.00 per square foot to build a new church. Attached is a copy of his estimate. Church Land The Lord has called upon us to find land that must be purchased to suit our needs to serve him and the community. Currently, our church building is located on 1.0124 acres and is on a highly traveled thoroughfare. We will need to purchase land that is on a major thoroughfare and is surrounded by neighborhoods. In addition, we will need to purchase 2 acres to build a church and to have the required parking as required by city, state & federal codes. It will cost us $30,000.00 per acre to meet the requirements. Church Furniture and Equipment The relocation of our church will also require us to purchase new church furniture and equipment. We will need to furnish and equipment the following of our church: Sanctuary; Kitchen; Fellowship Hall; Classrooms; Church Offices. The total cost will be $60,000.00. Relocation Cost Summary The total cost of relocation of our church is below.
