No,notforChristmas,butforthe2025-2026academicyear.The2025-2026FreeApplicationforFederal StudentAid(FAFSA)willbeavailabletostudentsandtheirfamiliesbeginningonDECEMBER1,2025. Studentsareremindedandencouragedtocompletethisapplicationiftheywanttoapplyforfinancial aidfornextyear.Thisincludesallfederal,stateandinstitutionalscholarships,grantsandloans.

Spring tuition statements will be sent out electronically the first week in December and will be due January 6, 2025.

Tuition statements are electronic and will not be mailed

Students and authorized users will receive an email notification from Nelnet Campus Commerce when a new statement is available

You must be added as an authorized user on your student’s online tuition account in order to receive the electronic statement notifications and obtain your own log in access to their tuition account

If you have not been added as an authorized user, you will need to have your student log on to their tuition account to add you

In order to view the full statement and detail you will need to log on to Nelnet Campus Commerce using your log in credentials

Federal Work Study awards are not deducted from the tuition bill

Payment plan options are available through the online tuition account or by contacting the Business Office.

If you need to apply for an additional loan please contact the Business Office to verify the balance

Spring refunds will not be available until after the start of the semester and once actual aid has been disbursed.

Books are not included in the tuition bill and are purchased separately We do have an online bookstore with Follett at https://www.bkstr.com/waynesburgstore/home

Tax Forms – 2024 1098T and student W2 forms will be sent out by the end of January

Pathways Center Updates

Students with testing accommodations who wish to complete final exams in the Disability Services Test Center are asked to complete the Test Center Request form on MyConnect by 5 pm on Friday, December 6 Requests for accommodated proctoring received after this date cannot be guaranteed.

The last day for Career Closet clothing check out was Tuesday, November 26 as we prepare to relocate to the newly renovated Pathways Center.

The final day for fall semester Writing Center appointments, tutoring sessions, is Friday, December 6. These services will not be available during final exam week.

The Writing Center's Banned Books Writing Contest winner was announced, and the winning submission was published on the Buzz Words blog.

Construction is wrapping up this month on the updated Pathways Center, which will open for student use in the spring semester. Click here to learn more!

Center for Criminal Justice and Forensic Investigation

The new Center for Criminal Justice and Forensic Investigation will be open for business Classes will be moving over (again, this semester) into brand new classrooms with the latest technology. The main conference room can hold 90 people, and is divisible into 3 separate classrooms by means of moving walls. Each classroom has a 98" monitor at the front In the basement of the Center will be our simulation room, complete with the only Patrol Simulator (driving simulator) of its kind at a university in the United States We are also installing two new top-of-the-line Use of Force Simulators, making Waynesburg University perhaps the only University with all these pieces of equipment. We couldn't be more excited!

Waynesburg University Regional Counseling Symposium

Fostering Connection: Addressing the Needs of Marginalized Groups

Waynesburg University will host its counseling symposium, “Fostering Connection: Addressing the Needs of Marginalized Groups,” in the spring.

Individuals are cordially invited to submit a proposal to present at Waynesburg University’s Regional Counseling Symposium, which will take place March 21, 2025, in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania Licensed professional counselors, professional counselors, counselor educators, clinical supervisors, community stakeholders, human resources professionals and other members of the behavioral health workforce from diverse organizations and disciplines are encouraged to submit a proposal to present.

Waynesburg University is seeking current and relevant information on innovative strategies promoting mental health, personal wellbeing, and social justice for underserved and marginalized groups Essentially, we hope to partner with community stakeholders to explore ways in which we may creatively navigate

challenges while enhancing service delivery and treatment outcomes that combat health inequities Health inequities arise when our most vulnerable and underserved populations experience inequitable distribution of a wide array of healthcare services By leveraging the best available evidence and innovative practices, we can empower marginalized groups to reach their full potential.
