Dear Parents and Guardians,
Happy February! We have certainly hit the ground running since January, and are continuing this month as we progress towards Spring and the end of the academic year In this newsletter, you can find links for resources and information regarding the Spring 2025 semester.
February is a busy month for the Waynesburg campus Spring sports begin while winter sports hit the peak of conference play. The Spring Musical auditions have occurred and The Center for Service Leadership hosted a Spring Service Fair In addition, the Office of Student Engagement hosted an Organization Open House. This is an exciting month for Residence Life, as they begin the hiring process for next academic year of Resident Mentors. Encourage your student to be a part of our robust campus life!

Have you completed your 2025-2026 FAFSA ? If not, NOW is the time! Just go to www.studentaid.gov and make sure that you include the Waynesburg University Federal Code: 003391.
Why FAFSA? It is your application for all federal, state and institutional grants, loans and other scholarships!

The 2024 1098-T tax forms were mailed out in January by our processor ECSI. Any student worker W2’s that were not picked up by the student at the office were mailed out at the end of January. If you have any questions in regard to the 1098-T form or student W2 please contact the Business Office.
An interview preparation workshop was held in the Pathways Center on Thursday, January 30 at 1 pm
Writing Center and Peer Tutoring appointments started on Tuesday, January 21 and will be available throughout the semester until April 25.
The Career Closet opened on Wednesday, January 22. Students in need of free, professional clothing for interviews, presentations, student teaching, and more can stop by during open hours
EBSCO was updated - giving students a more up-todate resource to use for online research
Eberly Library has a new popular books section. Students can request specific titles that they are interested in reading throughout the semester.
Future Professionals Day, including mock interviews and a resume workshop, will be held on Thursday, February 27 This event is hosted in partnership with Purpose & Leadership Academy and Design Club
WU Baccalaureate and Commencement Ceremonies are Sunday, May 4, 2025.

Any and all questions related to commencement should be directed to commencement@waynesburg.edu.
All Grads must submit the online form indicating their plans to attend or not attend Baccalaureate and Commencement ceremonies.
Regalia is required to participate in commencement and is to be purchased through The Nest
Lunch options will be updated and posted to the commencement website soon.
Campus Bible Studies have launched and are meeting weekly.

Each participating department or team will select specific items, such as equipment or experiences (like trips or conferences), that will have a meaningful impact on its students’ educational journeys. Your support during Orange Week will help enhance programs at Waynesburg University, allowing us to continue providing an exceptional education and experience for our students
