What is the value of your antiques?
Tap into treasures you already own by learning how to appraise your antiques, jewelry, coins, and collectibles. You’ll also discover insider secrets about the best places to sell. Even if you don’t plan to sell, you should protect your assets by knowing how to estimate their value for insurance purposes. Bring a small item (no larger than a shoe box) to the first class. Students say: “It was step-by-step.” “A fine, informative class!” I really feel as though I accomplished something important.” Who would raise your children if you died? Who will be the executor of your estate? Without a will the laws of Minnesota and a judge will make all of the decisions. Whether you are married, widowed, single or divorced, it’s important to have a will to make sure that your wishes (and not those of the state) are carried out. Learn about estates and wills and prepare a complete and legal will in class. You will be provided with instructions, a professionally prepared form, witnesses and a notary public - all of the tools necessary to complete this important document before you leave class. Wayzata Community Education has been working with MN Safety Council to provide these classes since 2004. Though they are 4 and 8 hours long (by law), students rave about the experience: “I learned more in this class than I have in any other DD class - and there have been several”, “I enjoyed the instructor’s sense of humor!”, and ,”Great class. Thank you!” See page 36 for upcoming Defensive Driving classes.
