Warmer days are ahead! We hope you will join us this summer in exploring new classes and camps for youth as well as outdoor learning opportunities for people of all ages.

Here are some additional highlights for this summer!

Full days of fun: If you sign up for a morning and afternoon youth camp, you can add lunch bunch in between to build a full day experience!

•

In-person options: With students back learning in-person this spring, we are well prepared to welcome students to in-person camps this summer. Class and camp options include single or multiple days as well as mornings and afternoons.

•

More outdoor activities: Whether you are looking for classes that promote fitness and wellness or classes focused on enrichment, skill mastery and social engagement, we have many new outdoor learning options to explore. See page 14 to learn more.

•

Online and on-demand: Looking for flexibility? Enjoying online learning? We have 20+ online learning opportunities for youth in grades K and up. See pages 12-13 for classes on computer programming, debate, STEM, spelling bee, young writers workshops, chemistry and more.

•

Fun for our youngest learners: From soccer and tennis to arts, crafts and theater, we have class and camp options for kids 2, 3 and 4+ years old.

•

One-of-a-kind experiences: Ever wondered what it would be like to learn yoga alongside goats? Are you interested in learning hand drumming while sitting by the lake? If so, be sure to check out our unique outdoor classes listed on page 15.

•

Free opportunities: Sample some of our classes by attending our free Meditating with Nature, Energizing Morning Yoga, and Walk and Talk Wayzata History classes. Join us to try something new!

HEALTH & SAFETY

HEALTH AND SAFETY INFORMATION:

In order to maintain the health and safety of staff and students during the coronavirus pandemic, the following practices have been put in place. These practices were created under the guidance of the Centers for Disease Control and Minnesota Department of Health. We will continue to update and revise procedures based on their guidance. The new plan integrates COVID-19 guidelines into our existing pre-pandemic public health procedures and includes less requirements and more personal/ family choice and responsibility. Please also review our Wayzata Schools Covid-19 Preparedness Plan on our website for more information.

Youth Classes We will do our best to follow the CDC and MDH guidelines for youth classes and activities, but due to the unpredictable nature of working with children, we cannot guarantee all children will always follow the guidelines we put in place. Please understand that your voluntary participation does come with some level of assumed risk.
