Diabetes forum for Practice Nurses Taranaki peer group Taranaki DHB Diabetes Service team, in association with Pinnacle Midlands Health Network, are providing an opportunity for practice nurses to connect with Diabetes Clinical Nurse Specialists and other health professionals working in diabetes care to build skills in advanced diabetes management in our province.

Empagliflozin, sold under the brand name Jardiance among others, is a medication used together with diet and exercise to treat type 2 diabetes. It can be prescribed instead of metformin and has benefits over sulfonylureas. It may be used together with other medications such as metformin or insulin.
Inviting:
Practice nurses who have completed Level 7 Diabetes course or who have an interest in diabetes.
