At the end of this session attendees will know: How to overcome common barriers which prevent timely insulin initiation Understand the impact on Māori health and the potential for reducing inequities Be familiar with new insulin guidelines- NZSSD 2021 To individualise patient targets and know how to limit unnecessary weight gain Gain confidence in the practical use of insulin pen devices
