are members of APEX; and are covered by the bargaining initiated by letter from APEX dated 15 June 2023 on behalf of our members employed as a registered physiotherapist or physiotherapy assistant, and any employee substantially employed as a physiotherapist or physiotherapy assistant but who may from time to time use different titles, including Clinical/Team Leaders.

Monday 18 December 2023 at 0731 hours.

Date on which strike action will end:
Sunday 24 December 2023 at 2359 hours.

Nature of strike:
From 0731 on Monday 18 December 2023 to 2359 on Sunday 24 December 2023, APEX members employed at Whakatane Hospital in the Bay of Plenty District that are covered by the bargaining for an APEX Physiotherapy Collective Agreement, shall adhere to the following: 1. Members working as Physio Assistants/Allied Health Assistants: • Will not be assisting with patients in the Hydro Pool • No completion of workplace stats /data • No electronic notes 2. Members working in in-patients: • New patient referrals will only be accepted from SMO’s, and only when requested face to face. • Physios will not be attending rapid rounds. • Physios will not be screening Trend Care for new referrals. • Physios will not be using e-whiteboard (To review or update). • Physios will not be carrying their phones. • Physios will not be assessing or issuing equipment for discharge. • Physios will not be completing stats.
