The 12th annual Canadian Horseshoeing Championships is a valuable resource in educating and developing competitive Canadian talent for International Blacksmith events. Competitors and public alike share the opportunity to gain knowledge and participate in a unique experience. The competition will once again conduct all classes using traditional coke fires. In addition, the organizing committee of the CHC tries to incorporate an educational feature into their event which addresses issues of concern to the horseowning public as well as the horseshoer. This year's competition will be held in the Northern Lights Arena.
