Testimonial for WCCNV Business Success Series 2015 lead by Brenda Gayle of Gayle Group.
Hey Members! What a different presentation you missed on the subject of Business Plans. Brenda Gayle was not talking us through the outline of business plan like so many of us have received in the past. She talked to us about the philosophy of the Plan; where and how we might create a problem for ourselves – “the next step” cautionary topic; identified what money-lenders are looking for and more. Who thought she’d coach us on how to set our prices ?! Who thought she’d give us insight about negotiating how to be paid what we are worth? Who expected guidance on Selling My Value? ….and she even provided a scenario for approaching other businesses who “fail” us – recall compliments open more ears than complaints. Added benefit: the other business owners who shared their concerns, voiced their challenges, and offered possible solutions to each other. This aspect is consistent with WCCNV business series segments: we help each other. My eyes were really opened with Brenda’s guidance. I feel significantly motivated to re-look at my earlier Business Plan with this new perspective and I have a greater appreciation for what my business DOES bring to the market place and consumers. Hoping more members will get the next Series date on their calendar and bring their contribution to the next meeting. This Monday I am full of emotion/nerves/ excitement. Friday will be my last day here at FOX5 Local. Las Vegas-- and being part of this PM news team since 2009 has been an honor and pleasure. Thank you for tuning in--I couldn’t have asked for better people to share set with than John Huck & Ted Pretty! I have LOVED living in this world-class community, and my son is so lucky to say he’s born in Las Vegas! Later in the month we head back to Arizona-- to happily return to work alongside my friends 3TV Phoenix - but carrying some 702 always!!
