Welcome to day one of The International, our fi nal meeting of the year. We are delighted to be able to welcome a limited number of spectators back to the Home of Jump Racing and wish you all a thoroughly enjoyable and safe day with us. The next two days look set to be full of fantastic racing, with the Glenfarclas Cross Country Chase taking centre stage this afternoon. Unlike other years, you will not be able to head into the centre of the course, but you’ll be able to enjoy the thrill of the action from the racecourse stands. This year, we are delighted to stage the rescheduled Fitzdares Club Loves The Peterborough Chase that could not be raced at Huntingdon last weekend. It is a wonderful race, and we are pleased to have been able to ensure it can take place this year. We would like to take a moment to remember a great friend, and supporter of the racecourse. Michael Roberts sadly passed away a few weeks ago, and was Chairman of today’s race sponsor CF Roberts for 50 years. We’d like to send our best wishes to all who knew Michael, his friends and family. He will be a much missed face around the racecourse. REMEMBERING

MICHAEL ROBERTS Michael was Group Chairman of todayâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s race sponsor CF Roberts and directed the business for over 50 years.
