GUEST SPEAKERS CHAT TO STUDENTS
Recently, we arranged a series of guest speakers to speak to our students via Zoom.
We would like to say a huge thank you to each and every one of our guests.
Each have a completely different job but showed us that a career in any sector of sport is attainable with hard work and desire!
Marc Webber spoke to the students about his role at BBC Radio Northampton, BBC TV and BBC Radio 5Live. Marc gave a very insightful talk especially for those interested in a similar pathway!
Another guest speaker session was with Dagenham & Redbridge player Will Wright who talked about his experiences in the game and provided a great insight for our scholars.
Meanwhile, our female students heard from Rebecca Welch about her career as a referee, officiating in both the female and male game. That gave a fantastic insight into an alternative pathway that is increasing for females within football!

What is your proudest moment in football? Winning the League Cup, County Cup and the league numerous times with MK City Emeralds. What do you hope to achieve with the Northampton Town Football & Education programme? I hope to get good grades and work to the best of my ability, both in the classroom and on the pitch. I really want to enjoy myself and make amazing memories that I can keep forever.
