ITALIAN PASTA (PASTA DI ITALIANA)

Pasta is made from unleavened dough of wheat or buckwheat flour and water, sometimes with other ingredients such as eggs and vegetable extracts. Pastas include varieties, such as ravioli and tortellini, that are filled with other ingredients, such as ground meat or cheese. Pasta is typical of different cultures and countries, but the most famous varieties and recipes come from Italy.

SHRIMPS

Shrimp are distributed widely around the world in both fresh and salt water. They are typical food for restaurants in Italy. Adult shrimp are filter feeding benthic animals living close to the bottom. They can live in schools and can swim rapidly backwards. Shrimp are an important food source for larger animals from fish to whales.

ITALIAN PIZZA

Pizza in an oven-baked, flat, disc-shaped bread typically topped with a tomato sauce, cheese and various toppings. Originating in Italy, from the Neapolitan cuisine, the dish has become popular in many parts of the world. An establishment that makes and sells pizzas is called a "pizzeria". Pizza is one of the national foods of Italy and the Italian people.

BREADED SCALLOPS

Breaded scallops are delicacy and they are very expensive food but many people don’t prefer them because is typical to prepare them not washed.

ITALIAN FRUIT DESSERTS

I don’t know the names of these desserts, because I saw them accidentally passing by a sweet shop in Venice. But their great appearance impressed all of us!
